Two Rivers Campground & Marina Introduce
For local residents seeking a unique "camping near me" experience that combines the tranquility of riverside camping with convenient marina access and on-site dining, Two Rivers Campground & Marina in Dilliner, Pennsylvania, presents an interesting option. While the provided information primarily focuses on the dining aspect, we can infer details about the environment and potential features of the campground and marina based on its name and the customer reviews.
Riverside Setting and Ambiance
The name "Two Rivers Campground & Marina" immediately suggests a location where two rivers converge or a campground situated along a significant river system. The review mentioning a setting "a few yards from the river" confirms this riverside ambiance. Such a location typically offers a relaxed and scenic environment, with the soothing sounds of flowing water and opportunities for waterfront activities. Campers can likely expect picturesque views and a generally peaceful atmosphere, ideal for unwinding and connecting with nature. The proximity to the river also hints at potential for fishing, boating, and simply enjoying the natural beauty of the waterway.
Potential Campground Features and Services
While specific details about the campground itself are absent in the provided reviews, we can deduce some likely features based on the name and common offerings at similar establishments. As a "campground," it would naturally offer designated campsites for tents and possibly recreational vehicles (though this is not explicitly stated and should be verified). These sites would likely vary in size and amenities, potentially including picnic tables and fire rings. Access to basic facilities such as restrooms and potable water is also a reasonable expectation for a campground catering to overnight stays. Given the "Marina" component of the name, it's highly probable that the campground offers services and facilities for boaters, such as boat slips, launching ramps, and possibly fuel or maintenance services. This dual offering makes it a potentially attractive destination for those who enjoy both camping and water-based activities.
The On-Site Restaurant: A Key Feature
The customer reviews provide contrasting perspectives on the on-site restaurant, which appears to be a significant feature of Two Rivers Campground & Marina. One reviewer enthusiastically praises the restaurant, describing it as "relaxed, friendly, comfortable" with "very good service" and "Even BETTER" food. They highlight the large portion sizes, suggesting good value, and commend the salad bar for its variety. This positive review strongly recommends the restaurant and expresses an intention to return, emphasizing the enjoyable dining experience and the pleasant setting near the river.
However, the second review presents a more negative experience, citing "slow service" even when not busy, and expressing disappointment with the quality of the food, particularly the spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken parmesan. This reviewer also felt the prices were too high for the perceived quality, although they did acknowledge the "very nice salad bar," echoing a positive aspect from the first review. These contrasting opinions suggest that the dining experience at the restaurant may be inconsistent or that individual preferences and expectations vary.
Combining Camping, Marina, and Dining
The unique combination of a campground, marina, and on-site restaurant positions Two Rivers Campground & Marina as a potentially convenient and multifaceted destination for local users. Campers can enjoy the outdoor experience with the added convenience of having a dining option available. Boaters utilizing the marina can benefit from nearby camping facilities or a place to grab a meal. This integration could be particularly appealing for weekend getaways or longer stays where convenience and variety are desired.
Important Questions for Potential Visitors
Given the limited information about the campground and marina aspects, local users considering a visit should seek answers to several key questions:

Special offers for local residents or packages combining camping and dining could further enhance its appeal. Highlighting the scenic riverside location and the potential for water-based recreation could also attract those seeking outdoor adventure close to home.

Two Rivers Campground & Marina Reviews
It is a relaxed, friendly, comfortable place. The service is very good and the food is Even BETTER. The portions are large, enough for a second meal. The salad bar has enough choices on it, that it could be enough to eat, if that's the choice you choose to make. We would DEFINITELY recommend it to friends and family. We be will return again in the future. It's worth the drive and the decor and setting, a few yards from the river, make your meal that much more enjoyable!!!
Jul 26, 2024 · Peggy StewartDisappointed. Slow service and not because it was busy. I have never ordered spaghetti and meatballs without being offered bread, butter and side salad. Chicken parm was very dry and tasteless. Prices are too expensive for poor quality meals . Very nice salad bar.
May 24, 2024 · angela kopichWe stopped in for dinner while out on our boat. Tied up right to the docks they have on the river. It's a very nice little place. All of the servers were great. Great atmosphere to boot. We opted for an outside table. You can see the river plain as day from the patio, and it made the experience that much better. The cod sandwich is absolutely enormous, the steak & cheese is excellent, and their onion rings are to die for. We'll be back for sure. Solid 10.
Aug 20, 2023 · John GNice grate home made food. Clean and the staff is grate. Small home town restaurant. With the over look of the river.
Oct 20, 2024 · Eric SunderhausThe restaurant food was delicious. Husband is a travel nurse so we stay at the campground which is also nice. They are definitely improving the grounds and the reopening of the restaurant is a bonus. Setting was great. Food is a little $$ but I will say it was worth it. Come visit this gem!
