Wildhurst Lodge & Campground Reviews
We had some unforeseen circumstances of a truck falling on our truck, but the owner and workers were amazing to work with and went above and beyond! They were helpful, kind and truly went above our expectations when something like that happens. The campsite was well maintained, with nice tree coverage and privacy. The bar had friendly staff, good food, and drinks! We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!
Aug 12, 2024 · Cierra GlickGreat campground! Stayed in one of the RV slots for electrical, will definitely come back for the private and rustic sites we saw! Staff is super friendly, nice quiet campground. Finland is an awesome little town, this campground is central for sightseeing and going further up the north shore. Close to Palisade Head & Black Beach!
Oct 06, 2024 · Mary MackWe ended up hear because we could get water and electric hook up for our camper. Nice place. Little off the beaten path of the north shore. Nice little restaurant on site. Friendly staff. Sounds like it is a great place to connect to ATV trails. Bring good bug spray, MN state bird (aka Mosquito) will carry you away.
Jul 18, 2024 · Rick JohnsonLove this camp ground. If I get back up to this area again to camp. I will stay here. The owners were amazing people. Very friendly and helpful.the camp sights are all spread out from each other. So you get some privacy. The price to stay is very nice. Highly highly highly recommend this camp ground.
Jul 26, 2024 · Brad FoxStayed in Cabin #1—overall, had a pretty pleasant experience! We arrived on a Friday afternoon and walked into the lounge, were greeted by an employee who checked us in, gave us our keys, and also a heads up that the showers and restrooms attached to the main building were going to be more pleasant to use than the old outhouse by the cabins. (This was very true! The outhouse was pretty annoying to use, especially since other campers seemed to completely ignore the huge signs saying to keep the toilet lid closed, making it way stinkier than it needed to be.)The cabin itself had a parking spot, a nice screened in area, and ample sleeping spaces. It had a musky odor, but opening both windows overnight had a nice, cooling cross-breeze. We appreciated the mini-fridge and tons of hooks to hang our things! The closeness to the bar was nice, being able to grab a late night dinner was pretty neat.Overall, We really appreciated the pet-friendly accommodations, which ended up being the best reason to stay here. Otherwise, we might stick to the more rustic state campgrounds since that's usually all that we need.
