Wishing Well Rv Resort Reviews
It was a wonderful place to stay. We rented a cabin and when we had a couple minor problems they came quickly and fixed them. The Halloween weekend theme was great. The kids, and my sister and I, loved it. We had plenty to do and it kept us busy. The kids loved the playgrounds too.Thank you to all the staff. They were friendly and helpful. I will be looking into the spring and fall specials for next year.
Sep 30, 2024 · Kathleen DugasWe had a blast here last year when they were gracious enough to host our Fire Department Family Campout. We are supposed to be there again this year and hope to go except for the fact that they are never around to book a campsite. I have called numerous times to get a site booked but nobody will call me back. Please contact me.ThanksAndrew Vossekuil
Feb 27, 2025 · Andrew VossekuilLooks like a nice place to camp for a few weeks this is a place especially set up for kids…For a single night stay or two it was OK but all of their places are back in and very few have septic. It looked like there are quite a few spots that are for Park models or for people that have rented the spot for the Season with their trailer…Lots of big shade trees and grassy areas every spot looked like it had a picnic table, Water and power…. septic is on the way out or you can rent blue trailer for septic…Sorry, I forgot to take pictures
Jul 28, 2024 · Linda NogaWe have been going here for years and in the past it's been good. The past 2 years it seems to be getting run down.A lot of the things could be upgraded or refreshed. We were their for the carnival weekend and it was very disorganized. We left the pool to go for the 2 hour period they had it running. It didn't start till around 30 minutes late. They didn't have enough staff to run it and no one seemed to have a clue of what to do. I was told the games were 1 ticket. That was wrong, they charged 5 tickets for poorly made carnival games. The prizes the kids one looked like either they had a stuffed animal drive or purchased from good will. They were used!So I wasted $20 for my kids to play a total of 5 games to get 2 used stuffed animals. That was ridiculous. The games should of been $1 so kids can play them for a while. Many parents were upset. Our group of 4 families will look for a new place to camp next year since none of us were happy with Wishing Well this year.If we paid around $50 bucks for this place it would be more worthwhile but at $85 a night plus all the fees for a sight with no sewer is a little crazy for that area.Used to better it's a shame.
Aug 18, 2024 · C FaustThis isn't a campground. It's a 24/7 spring break party with non-stop loud music blaring all hours of the night, and hundreds of golf carts speeding up and down the roads and campsites often driven by young teenagers. I'm sure this must appeal to people, as the park was quite crowded, but it was definitely a huge turn off for my family and I. From what we can gather, most people here seem to know each other and are permanent or seasonal residents, and I assume the park caters to those people. The "quiet hours" start at 11pm, but that is extremely late at night for a family with young children. Trying to enjoy evening time in our camper was ruined with constant loud bass and thumping from everyone with their music cranked up. Even at 2am the bass was still thumping from a neighbor's loud stereo. I have never experienced this at a campground before, and I hope to never experience it again. What did we like about the park? The staff and park goers are friendly, there's lots of stuff for the kids to do even though much of it looks run down or old, and the rates were reasonable. Finally, we have to talk about the golf carts because they are wild. It's like a Mad Max movie with people all over in roving packs of tricked out golf carts, people hanging off the sides or standing in the back, huge speakers blasting music, strobing LED lights, parading around the park streets and walkways nonstop. One day during our stay about 50 golf carts stacked up in a lot directly next to our campsite as if preparing for some type of parade which we didn't wait around to see what absurdities ensued. We'll stick to the state parks in the future, and leave this one for the party crowd.
