Fleur Mobile Home Park Introduce
Fleur Mobile Home Park, located at 3117, 7301 Fleur Dr Lot 122, Des Moines, IA 50321, USA, functions as a residential mobile home community. While categorized under "RV Parks Near Me," it primarily serves as a long-term living solution for owners of manufactured homes, rather than a transient recreational vehicle park. This introduction provides an objective overview of the park, drawing directly from available information and the experiences shared by its residents.
The environment within Fleur Mobile Home Park, as described by its residents, presents a mixed picture. Its location on Fleur Drive places it in a well-established area of Des Moines, offering access to city amenities. However, the internal environment of the park is characterized by specific challenges. Residents report issues with noise, stating that "if there's a party you can hear it 5 houses down or if someone is fighting" and that on "the 4th of July people will stay up till 4am." This suggests that sound insulation between homes might be poor due to "super thin walls," and that noise management within the community could be an area of concern. Despite a "lots of children live here," there is "absolutely no place for them to play," indicating a lack of dedicated recreational spaces for younger residents. This is a significant environmental drawback for families. Furthermore, a long-term resident noted that a promised playground from 2012 "has never happened" and that a pool was "tore out and filled in 2013," indicating a deterioration or removal of communal amenities that would enhance the living environment. The park is described as "very small," which can contribute to a sense of knowing "who should and shouldn't be here," potentially implying a certain level of community awareness or security, though this also might contribute to the noise issues due to close proximity. The overall environment, as portrayed by residents, points to a community that has experienced a decline in shared amenities and struggles with noise control, impacting the daily living experience for many.
The services provided by Fleur Mobile Home Park primarily revolve around the rental of mobile home lots. Residents own their manufactured homes and lease the land they occupy. A significant recurring concern highlighted in customer reviews pertains to the management of the park. A resident states, "we've had 6 managers" over 3.5 years, indicating frequent changes in leadership, which can lead to inconsistencies in service delivery and communication. This high turnover in management is a critical service issue, as it impacts the stability and responsiveness of the park's operations. Furthermore, residents express dissatisfaction with the consistency of community rules, noting, "they change the community rules every other month depending on who you are the rules are definitely not the same for everyone." This suggests a lack of fair and uniform enforcement of policies, which can create a sense of inequity and frustration among residents. While the park undoubtedly provides basic utility hookups for water, sewer, and electricity to the lots, the quality of these services or the park's responsiveness to infrastructure issues is not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews. The fundamental service of providing a lot for a mobile home is available, but the accompanying management and consistency of rule enforcement appear to be significant areas of contention for the residents. For specific inquiries regarding available lots or services, the provided phone numbers are (515) 310-1241 and +1 515-310-1241, which potential residents would need to contact directly.
The features of Fleur Mobile Home Park, based on resident feedback, indicate both the practical aspects of living there and areas of concern. A primary feature is the nature of the housing itself, manufactured homes on leased lots. The problem of "super thin walls" is a significant feature that directly impacts the quality of life, leading to pervasive noise issues. This indicates that the construction or design of the homes within the park may not offer adequate sound insulation. Another key feature that significantly impacts residents is the consistent increase in "lot rent every year," with one resident stating it went "from 285$ to 405$." This upward trend in costs is a major financial feature that residents must contend with. The lack of dedicated recreational space for children is a notable missing feature, especially given that "lots of children live here." The unfulfilled promise of a playground from 2012 and the removal of the pool in 2013 highlight a decline in community amenities rather than an enhancement. This suggests that the park's features are not being updated or improved to meet resident needs. The "very small park" size, while potentially fostering a sense of community awareness, also limits the available space for amenities and may contribute to the noise issues due to proximity. The inconsistent application of "community rules" is another feature that contributes to resident dissatisfaction, creating an environment where rules are not applied equally. These features, primarily described by residents, point to significant challenges within the park's living environment and management. The park offers a place for mobile homes, but the accompanying features suggest a community struggling with modernization, consistent management, and resident amenities.
When considering Fleur Mobile Home Park, any "promotional information" for potential residents would primarily revolve around the availability of lots for mobile homes. However, based on the customer reviews, prospective residents should exercise significant caution and conduct thorough due diligence. The consistent "rent is always raising" is a critical financial consideration that any prospective resident must factor into their budget. The negative experiences regarding noise, lack of children's play areas, unfulfilled promises of amenities like a playground, and the removal of the pool are significant aspects that would deter many families. The high turnover in management and the reported inconsistency in applying "community rules" point to potential instability and unfairness within the park's operations. The direct recommendation from residents to "not recomend liveing here" and "definitely don't recommend moving here" serves as a strong cautionary statement that would overshadow any typical promotional efforts. While the park is located in Des Moines, offering access to the city's resources, the internal environment and management issues seem to be dominant factors. Interested individuals would need to contact the park directly via phone at (515) 310-1241 or +1 515-310-1241 to inquire about lot availability, current rental rates, and the specific terms of any lease agreements. It is highly advisable for potential residents to visit the park in person, observe the conditions, and ideally speak with current residents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the living experience before making any commitments. This park appears to be better suited for individuals or families who are prepared for the specific challenges outlined in the reviews, particularly when considering options under "RV Parks Near Me" for long-term residency.

Jun 30, 2022 · Addisynn QuinonesI've lived here for 3 1/2 yrs and we've had 6 managers they have raised the lot rent every year from 285$ to 405$ lots of children live here and there is absolutely no place for them to play... we were promised that they was installing a playground in 2012 has never happened and the tore out and filled in the pool 2013 this place is a joke.... they change the community rules every other month depending on who you are the rules are definitely not the same for everyone.... the only positive thing I can say is that it's a very small park so you know who should and shouldn't be here... definitely don't recommend moving here.... I'm currently looking to move my home out of this park
Mar 21, 2017 · Tonya CribbsHigh rent keeps going up. No accomodations to warrant the increases. Hard to get ahold of management when you have a problem. Many management changes, managers didn't stay long here. Corporate does not respond.
Oct 16, 2019 · Sqeeky KleenWorst management ever. No one communicates with each other. They’ve lost our application like 3 times. I do not recommend moving here.
