Lakeside Landing RV Park & Marina Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" that offer a picturesque waterfront setting with the added convenience of marina access? Lakeside Landing RV Park & Marina, situated at 4600 Martin St S, Cropwell, AL 35054, USA, presents an appealing option for RV travelers seeking a lakeside experience. Based on initial customer feedback, this park boasts an "excellent location on the water" and a welcoming atmosphere. If you're dreaming of waking up to waterfront views and having easy access to boating activities, Lakeside Landing RV Park & Marina might be the perfect destination for your next getaway.
When browsing "RV parks near me," the allure of a waterfront location is often a significant draw. Lakeside Landing RV Park & Marina certainly capitalizes on this, offering direct access to the water, presumably Logan Martin Lake, given its location in Cropwell, Alabama, which is situated on the shores of this popular recreational lake. The "excellent location on the water" suggests that guests can expect scenic views, opportunities for water-based activities such as boating, fishing, and swimming, and the overall ambiance of lakeside living. For those who enjoy spending time on or near the water, this RV park offers a prime setting.
In terms of the physical layout of the park, one reviewer described the spots as "dirt and gravel spots with a picnic table and concrete patio." This provides a basic understanding of the site infrastructure. While dirt and gravel are common in many RV parks, the inclusion of a picnic table and a concrete patio adds a level of convenience and comfort, offering dedicated spaces for outdoor dining and relaxation. These features can enhance the overall camping experience, providing a more home-like feel to your RV site.
The same reviewer, who was traveling in a 42-foot Class A RV, noted that their vehicle "really fit in the spot." This is valuable information for owners of larger RVs, indicating that Lakeside Landing RV Park & Marina can accommodate sizable rigs. However, they also mentioned that "the water and electric were very far forward in our lot, but we reached." This is an important practical consideration for potential guests. Depending on the length and configuration of your RV and the placement of the utility hookups, you might need extra-long hoses and power cords to connect properly. It's advisable to inquire about the specific layout of your assigned site when making a reservation to ensure you are prepared.
Another crucial point raised by a reviewer was an initial issue with the electrical supply. They reported that their "50 amp had initial high voltage warnings for our surge protector." This suggests a potential fluctuation or instability in the power supply upon arrival. However, the reviewer also noted that "it did level out and seemed stable." While this issue appeared to resolve itself, it serves as a reminder for RV owners to always use a surge protector to safeguard their electrical systems. It might also be prudent to inquire with the park management about the consistency and reliability of their electrical service.
One brief review mentioned having "a nice time" and that "people were nice I met." This positive social feedback suggests a friendly and welcoming community atmosphere within the park, which can greatly contribute to an enjoyable stay. Interacting with friendly staff and fellow campers can enhance the overall experience of being in an RV park.
Given that Lakeside Landing RV Park & Marina includes "Marina" in its name, it's reasonable to assume that they offer facilities and services related to boating. This could include boat slips for rent, a boat launch, and possibly other amenities for boaters. For RVers who also enjoy boating, having these facilities on-site is a significant advantage, providing direct access to Logan Martin Lake for recreational boating activities.

However, it is always worth inquiring with the park management about any special offers or discounts, especially for longer stays or during off-peak seasons. In conclusion, Lakeside Landing RV Park & Marina in Cropwell, Alabama, offers a compelling option for those seeking "RV parks near me" with an excellent waterfront location on Logan Martin Lake and the added benefit of a marina. While the reviews provide some insights into the site features (dirt/gravel spots, picnic tables, concrete patios) and potential considerations (utility placement, initial electrical concerns), the overall sentiment is positive, with mentions of friendly people and a pleasant experience. For RVers looking to enjoy lakeside living and boating opportunities in Alabama, contacting Lakeside Landing RV Park & Marina directly is the best way to gather detailed information and plan your waterfront getaway.

May 07, 2025 · Tamm KennExcellent location on the water. Dirt and gravel spots with a picnic table and concrete patio. The water and electric were very far forward in our lot, but we reached. Our class A is 42 feet and really fit in the spot.Only real issue we had was the energy in our 50 amp had initial high voltage warnings for our surge protector. It did level out and seemed stable.
Jan 26, 2024 · Ernest BethelI really like this park and the locationThe bath houses are not kept up. There was a dead. Rat in the men's shower. Only 2 of the 3 showers worked in men's or women's ŕest room.
Sep 14, 2024 · melody nolesWe keep our boat in dry storage here. It is very convenient for us because we sign it at front desk and call when we are ready to get towed into the water. Same thing when we are through for the day; we call and they pick us up! The staff are always so kind & helpful. I know when it’s busy they must get stressed but they never ever show it. They always have smiles and go the extra mile! The facilities are clean and it is perfect location from Birmingham (and Anniston) areas. Again the staff make Lakeside Landing enjoyable to visit. They have a gas station and a food mart. There is a large RV park. Rates are very reasonable for boat, RV storage and RV spots. Best marina at Logan Martin Lake!
