Mai Tai Village Introduce
For local users seeking information about 'RV parks near me' that might also encompass long-term mobile home living options, Mai Tai Village, situated at 7375 Mai Tai Dr, Orlando, FL 32822, presents a community with recent management changes that have elicited contrasting experiences from its residents. While not a traditional RV park, mobile home communities can sometimes accommodate RVs for extended stays and therefore may be relevant for those exploring various long-term living situations through the 'RV parks near me' category.
One long-term resident, having lived in Mai Tai Village for over three years, initially found the community "ok" but reports a significant decline under new management. This resident expresses strong dissatisfaction, stating that the new management "bother you for everything" and restricts residents' ability to make changes to their own homes. A serious allegation of racism against the manager is also made in this review. Furthermore, this resident mentions specific issues with parking, stating that they are not allowed to parallel park their car in their own driveway, leading to a violation notice for a vehicle parked in their driveway. Due to these negative experiences, this resident is planning to sell their home and leave the community as soon as possible, advising others not to "waste ur time here" to avoid regret.
In contrast, another resident who has lived in Mai Tai Village for a while offers a more positive perspective on the recent changes. While acknowledging that the community "hasn't always been great," they commend the consistent cleanliness and upkeep of the park. This resident notes a significant improvement since "Toreen has been here," describing her as "a great asset to the community." They also highlight the friendliness of the neighbors they have met and praise the improved communication under the new management, where "the follow thru wasn't great" in the past but is now "fantastic."
The contrasting reviews suggest a period of significant transition within Mai Tai Village following the change in management. While one resident has experienced considerable dissatisfaction and raises serious concerns about management practices and alleges racism, another resident perceives positive changes, particularly in communication and overall community management.
Based on the available information, it's challenging to form a definitive overall assessment of Mai Tai Village. The experiences appear to be highly dependent on individual interactions with the new management and their perspective on the changes implemented. The allegation of racism is a serious concern that potential residents would need to consider carefully. Similarly, the restrictive parking rules reported by one resident could be a significant inconvenience for others.
The positive feedback regarding cleanliness and improved communication under the new manager, Toreen, suggests that efforts are being made to enhance the living environment and resident relations for some. However, the negative experiences of another long-term resident cannot be dismissed and highlight potential issues that may affect other members of the community.
For local users considering Mai Tai Village as a potential long-term living option, whether in a mobile home or possibly an RV, it is crucial to approach with caution and seek further information. Contacting the park directly at (407) 273-7020 or +1 407-273-7020 would be advisable to inquire about current policies, rules, and to speak with the management about the concerns raised in the reviews. A visit to the community to observe the environment, cleanliness, and parking situation firsthand would also be beneficial.
Specifically, potential residents should inquire about:
- Current lot rental fees and any associated costs.
- Specific rules and regulations regarding parking, including parallel parking in driveways.
- Policies on making changes or improvements to individual homes/lots.
- The management's approach to resident concerns and communication.
- Any security measures in place within the community.
Given the serious allegation of racism, prospective residents may also want to try and speak with current residents to gain a broader understanding of the community's atmosphere and management practices. While online reviews can provide initial insights, direct interaction and personal observation are essential for making an informed decision about whether Mai Tai Village would be a suitable living environment.
In conclusion, Mai Tai Village is a mobile home park in Orlando, FL, currently undergoing a period of change under new management. While some residents report improvements in communication and park upkeep, others express significant concerns about restrictive rules, alleged racism, and overall management practices. Local users searching for 'RV parks near me' who might be considering a mobile home community for long-term living should carefully weigh these contrasting experiences and conduct thorough due diligence before making any commitments to reside in Mai Tai Village.

Apr 23, 2025 · memo babyI've lived here for a while now, hasn't always been great, has always been clean and well kept. Has gotten much much better since Toreen has been here, she is a great asset to the community. Everyone I have met has been friendly, in the past the follow thru wasn't great, now the communication is fantastic.

May 02, 2025 · Gabriel rodriguezDefinitely the worst place to live. They will find every and any reason to "evict" you and their office management is horrible and horribly rude. I miss the old management and I have lived in the park for over 20 years. Never bothered anyone, everyone watched me grow up. On top of that they love to change the rules on you where you can't have any guest in the pool, gym, or accessed areas where you would love to bring family from out of town and so on. Nope, if they are not verified residents of the park you are not allowed to bring them. Unless you are old with a lot of money where people can take care of the things you need such as pressure washing your house almost every month, or weed eating your lawn every week (which they sent us notices that we don't havr to do it but guess what, you do.) and that's only for the front of the park... if you go to backs there's so many homes that have been so horrible maintained but it's okay. I do not recommend living here anymore. This community went from great, to garbage. Oh let's not forget the shoots outs you'll have in front of your homes from time to time. Or how the gates are always broken and they love to waste money on that. Oh wait, you'll love to waste money on that because rent goes up every year by at least $25-50. On top of that the lawn service and bug service you pay for is worth nothing. My recommendation? Don't live here. The office staff are very racist as well.
Jul 25, 2024 · Rachel PhillipsNot a great place to live. Fence surrounding properties is falling apart. They don't keep the grounds clean. The people in the office are rude and unfriendly. They charge way too much for their lots. You purchase the home and still have to maintain the grass. When you want to sell they make it hard for you and give you a low ball price to purchase your home. Better off selling in your own.
