Mountain View Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local residents in the Montrose, Colorado area who are exploring housing options and may come across listings for mobile home parks under the category of 'RV parks near me', it is essential to understand the distinction between recreational vehicle parks and mobile home parks. Mountain View Mobile Home Park, located at 67250 Locust Rd in Montrose, is a community for long-term or permanent residency in manufactured homes. Recent customer reviews, however, paint a deeply concerning picture of the living conditions and the responsiveness of the property management, which potential residents should be aware of.
One review comes from a family of four, three of whom are disabled, residing in a different mobile home park owned by the same company. This review raises serious allegations of neglect and disregard for tenant well-being. They state that they have been relying on their oven for heat for the past three years and have had a cracked bathtub for the past two years. Despite numerous reports to the management, these critical issues have allegedly been consistently ignored. This lack of action on essential repairs, particularly concerning heating during potentially cold Montrose winters and a damaged bathroom fixture, indicates a severe lack of attention to basic living standards and tenant needs.
Adding to these alarming concerns is a review from individuals who recently moved into Mountain View Mobile Home Park itself. Their account describes the property as "disgustingly gross" upon arrival. They specifically highlight the presence of "all kinds of black mold" in the bathroom, a serious health hazard. Furthermore, they reported the absence of handles on the bathtub, rendering it unusable for showering since they moved in fifteen days prior to their review. This lack of a functioning shower is a fundamental issue affecting basic hygiene. Additionally, their washing machine was leaking significantly. The reviewer goes on to state that if the property were inspected, it would "be condemned," emphasizing the severity of the conditions. They strongly advise others to "stay away from this place," alleging that management will say anything to attract tenants but cannot be trusted, and that prospective residents should seek housing elsewhere.
The cumulative impact of these two reviews paints a distressing picture of the living conditions and management practices associated with properties owned by this company, including Mountain View Mobile Home Park. The allegations of ignored repair requests for critical issues like heating and damaged bathrooms, coupled with the description of a newly moved-in unit being "disgustingly gross" with black mold and unusable facilities, raise significant red flags for anyone considering residing at Mountain View Mobile Home Park.
In terms of the environment of Mountain View Mobile Home Park, the reviews provide no positive descriptions. Instead, they suggest a potentially unhealthy and poorly maintained living space, at least in some units. The presence of black mold indicates a lack of adequate ventilation and potential water damage issues. The general term "disgustingly gross" implies a lack of cleanliness and overall upkeep. The absence of basic functional elements like bathtub handles further detracts from a habitable environment.
Regarding services and features, the reviews primarily highlight a severe lack of essential services and responsiveness from the management. The failure to address critical repair requests over extended periods, such as the lack of proper heating and a cracked bathtub in another property owned by the same company, suggests a systemic issue with property maintenance. The condition of the newly occupied unit at Mountain View Mobile Home Park, with black mold and a non-functional shower, indicates a failure to ensure basic habitability before move-in. The leaking washing machine adds to the list of unresolved maintenance problems. The only "feature" discernible from the reviews is the apparent willingness of management to make promises to attract tenants, which are then allegedly not fulfilled.
The key feature that emerges from these reviews is the alleged negligence and lack of care exhibited by the property management. This is a significant negative feature that outweighs any potential positive aspects of the location or basic infrastructure of the mobile home park. The failure to provide safe, clean, and functional living conditions, as described by multiple reviewers, is a serious concern for potential residents.
Currently, no promotional information is available for Mountain View Mobile Home Park based on the provided reviews. Given the severely negative feedback concerning the living conditions and management, it is highly unlikely that any positive promotional efforts would be effective or truthful without significant improvements to the property and its management practices. The strong warnings from former and current tenants to avoid the park serve as a powerful deterrent.
For local users searching for 'RV parks near me' in Montrose, Mountain View Mobile Home Park, as a long-term residential community with significant reported issues, would not be a suitable option for temporary RV stays. The conditions described are indicative of problems affecting permanent residents and would likely not be conducive to a positive short-term experience either.
For local residents specifically seeking long-term housing in Montrose, the information gleaned from these reviews strongly suggests that Mountain View Mobile Home Park should be approached with extreme caution. The allegations of neglect, unsafe living conditions (such as black mold), and unresponsive management are serious and warrant thorough investigation and consideration of alternative housing options. Contacting the property management at (970) 985-0927 or +1 970-985-0927 might provide their perspective, but the consistency and severity of the negative feedback should not be ignored.
In conclusion, the available customer reviews for Mountain View Mobile Home Park in Montrose, Colorado, paint a deeply concerning picture of substandard living conditions, including issues like black mold, non-functional utilities, and a lack of responsiveness from property management. Potential local residents searching for 'RV parks near me' or considering long-term housing in Montrose are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and thoroughly investigate these serious allegations before considering Mountain View Mobile Home Park as a place to live. The negative feedback suggests that this property may not provide a safe, healthy, or well-maintained living environment.
