Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the San Jacinto, California area that offers a blend of recreational activities and a family-friendly environment? Consider Reflection Lake RV Park, located at 3440 Cottonwood Ave, San Jacinto, CA 92582, USA. You can reach them at (951) 654-7906 or +1 951-654-7906 for inquiries.
Reflection Lake RV Park is situated in San Jacinto, a city in Riverside County known for its natural beauty and proximity to the San Jacinto Mountains. The park's name suggests a central feature – a lake – which is supported by customer reviews mentioning fishing as a key activity. This makes it a potentially attractive destination for RV enthusiasts who enjoy angling and lakeside relaxation.
One reviewer specifically mentions "good vids and fun for family and fishing," indicating that the park offers activities suitable for families and those interested in fishing. This suggests a welcoming environment for both short-term camping trips and potentially longer stays for those looking to enjoy the recreational opportunities. The positive sentiment about "fun for family" implies that the park may have amenities or an atmosphere that caters to children and group activities.
Another reviewer echoes the positive experience, stating they "had a great time" over a weekend visit with their kids, describing the park as a "wonderful place." They also commend the staff as "super friendly," specifically thanking someone named Lucky. This highlights the potential for excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere created by the park's staff, which can significantly enhance the overall visitor experience.
However, one review also raises a significant concern regarding pricing transparency. This reviewer notes that while the website stated a fishing fee of $24 per adult, they were charged an additional $10 for three adults, resulting in a total of $84 for fishing. They label this as "false advertising" and urge the park to update its website with accurate pricing information. This discrepancy between the advertised price and the actual charge is a serious issue that potential visitors should be aware of. It underscores the importance of verifying all costs and fees before committing to a stay or activities at the park.
The same reviewer also provides an update, claiming that the owner reacted defensively to the feedback, allegedly changing the website to reflect a higher price of $28, seemingly to contradict the reviewer's initial price point. The reviewer finds this reaction "almost comical" and points to other reviews suggesting the owner tries hard to "save the image of this place." This update suggests potential issues with how the park addresses negative feedback and maintains transparency with its pricing.
Considering these reviews, Reflection Lake RV Park appears to offer a potentially enjoyable experience for families and fishing enthusiasts, with friendly staff contributing to a positive atmosphere. The presence of a lake as a central feature likely provides opportunities for fishing, and the mention of "good vids" might suggest other forms of entertainment or resources available at the park, perhaps related to local attractions or park information.
However, the serious concerns raised about pricing discrepancies and the handling of customer feedback are critical points that potential visitors must consider. The alleged "false advertising" regarding fishing fees and the subsequent reaction described by the reviewer indicate a potential lack of transparency that could affect the overall trust and satisfaction of visitors. It is essential for prospective guests to inquire about all fees associated with their stay and any activities they plan to participate in, and to ensure they receive clear and accurate information.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" that offer fishing and family-oriented amenities in the San Jacinto area, Reflection Lake RV Park presents itself as a potential option. The positive reviews regarding the environment and staff suggest a pleasant experience. However, the significant issues raised about pricing transparency and customer service responsiveness to negative feedback should prompt careful consideration and direct inquiry with the park management before making a reservation.
To make an informed decision, potential visitors should contact Reflection Lake RV Park directly to inquire about their current pricing for RV site rentals, fishing permits, and any other activities or amenities. It would also be wise to ask about their policies regarding pricing accuracy on their website and how they handle discrepancies or customer feedback. Seeking clarification on these points can help avoid unexpected costs and ensure a more transparent and satisfactory experience.
In conclusion, Reflection Lake RV Park in San Jacinto appears to be a place where families and fishing enthusiasts can have a good time, with friendly staff enhancing the experience. However, the serious allegations of pricing discrepancies and a potentially defensive approach to customer feedback regarding these issues are significant concerns. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" should weigh the positive aspects against the reported pricing problems and ensure they obtain clear and accurate information about all costs before choosing to stay at Reflection Lake RV Park.

Reflection Lake RV Park Reviews
Good vids and fun for family and fishing but prices went up. CHECK RECEIPTS, paid for 3 adults to fish usually is $24 each like the website says but got charged an additional $10 for all so paid $84 for 3 people to fish. Pretty dramatic price at least put it in your website. Other than false advertising it’s a good place. Update: owner hates to be wrong and changed the website to make it seem like it was never $24 And was always $28 almost comical. Reading other reviews the owner tries hard to save the image of this place.

Apr 08, 2024 · Jason CrossnoA beautiful day at the lake, the hubby caught 2 nice sized catfish, my son BBQ'd up some delish street tacos. Had a wonderfully relaxing day b4 Father's Day. (Kinda felt more like Mother's Day, Lol)
Jun 16, 2024 · Stefanie EdwardsI do love this place but if you came now at this time you would be very disappointed right now with the very low water level of the lake also water is to shallow and warm this year to stock trout this year. We'll water level is way up after the storm flooded for weeks straight, but getting back to normal. They still need to stock the lake for better fishing. But if you like wild life watching the migrating birds is beautiful. As of about 5 days ago on the 18th they stocked lake with few hundred lbs. Of cat fish. Good luck they stocked twice now. Don't miss out. I been doing well
