Russell Mobile Home Park Introduce
For individuals and families seeking long-term residential options within the mobile home and manufactured housing sector, Russell Mobile Home Park, located at 1600 Seibert Ln, Mt Vernon, IN 47620, USA, may appear in searches for "RV Parks Near Me" or similar housing queries. While it caters to mobile homes rather than temporary RV stays, its presence in such search categories indicates it might be considered by those exploring various affordable living solutions. An objective assessment of this park, based on available information, reveals a complex picture with both potential advantages and notable challenges.
The environment of Russell Mobile Home Park, as described by some past residents, presents a contrasting image. While one former resident expressed a positive personal experience, stating "I actually liked living here," indicating a potentially agreeable living space or community atmosphere, another review offers a starkly different perspective. This latter review describes the park as "so ran down and trashy its awful," and alleges that "the pics on the website were taken years ago and I mean years ago." This suggests that the current physical condition of the park may be a significant concern for potential residents. A mobile home park's environment typically encompasses the condition of its lots, common areas, roads, and infrastructure. Discrepancies between advertised images and reality, alongside claims of a "ran down" and "trashy" state, would indicate an environment that might require significant personal effort to maintain a desirable living space, or that may not meet the expectations of cleanliness and upkeep that residents might seek in a community.
In terms of services, information about Russell Mobile Home Park is limited and somewhat contradictory based on public reviews. Mobile home parks typically offer lot rentals where residents own their mobile homes but lease the land. Essential services usually include access to utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity, and often garbage collection. One former resident mentioned the park's "willingness to work with me and is willing to let me have my animals," which suggests a degree of flexibility or a pet-friendly policy that could be a valuable service for many potential residents. However, a highly critical review strongly contradicts any notion of professional service, particularly concerning financial matters and communication. The review highlights a significant issue with a refund, stating, "It has been since October 28 2021 that I asked for my money back from Janet the park manager. I called on November 20 2021 and she hadn't even filled the paperwork out yet. Now I changed my mind about a trailer I was going to buy there." This experience, coupled with the claim that "no one answers the phone," suggests severe deficiencies in administrative responsiveness and financial accountability, which are critical services for any residential community. The phone numbers provided are (812) 901-5818 and +1 812-901-5818.
The features of Russell Mobile Home Park, based on the provided customer feedback, paint a concerning picture, particularly regarding management and overall park conditions. A recurring issue highlighted is "the constant management change," which can lead to instability, lack of consistent policies, and difficulty in resolving issues. This instability is further exacerbated by the severe accusations against a former park manager, Janet, of "unprofessional" conduct, spreading "lies," and causing a "big mess" related to a trailer purchase. Such features directly impact the residents' sense of security, trust, and quality of life within the community. The physical features, as previously mentioned, are described as "ran down," which implies a lack of maintenance for infrastructure, common areas, and potentially individual lots, creating an environment that might be far from appealing. For those considering mobile home living, the condition of the park's roads, lighting, landscaping, and the general upkeep of vacant lots or abandoned homes are significant features that contribute to the overall living experience. The mention of looking for a "3 bedroom for rent" suggests that the park does offer various mobile home sizes or lot sizes that can accommodate different family needs, and potentially offers rental homes in addition to lot leases.
Promotional information for Russell Mobile Home Park, based on the customer reviews, would face significant challenges. While a park might promote its affordability, location in Mt. Vernon, or willingness to accommodate pets, the strong negative feedback regarding management issues and park condition would heavily counter any such claims. The suggestion to "dont go here unless your desperate" from a disgruntled former resident is a powerful, cautionary statement that would severely impact any promotional efforts. In the context of "RV Parks Near Me" or mobile home living, a park typically highlights community amenities, quiet living, safe environments, and responsive management. For Russell Mobile Home Park, the online sentiment points to a stark contrast with these desirable attributes. While a mobile home park's official promotional materials might showcase older, more flattering images (as alleged by a reviewer), prospective residents are increasingly relying on real customer reviews for an objective assessment. Therefore, any effective promotion would need to address the severe criticisms directly, or reflect significant and visible improvements in management stability, communication, and park maintenance. The opportunity for a potential resident to have their "animals" is a specific positive point that could be highlighted, catering to a niche of pet owners seeking housing options. However, this alone is unlikely to outweigh the more systemic concerns raised by the negative reviews. The park's contact information, (812) 901-5818, would be a point of contact for inquiries, but based on feedback, responsiveness might be an issue. In conclusion, while Russell Mobile Home Park may offer housing solutions in Mt. Vernon, prospective residents should conduct thorough on-site inspections and consider the full spectrum of reviews and public information to form an objective understanding of the living environment and management quality.

Russell Mobile Home Park Reviews
I lived here back in 2017 before my dad passed away.. Sadly I haven't set foot on the property since it happened but I am currently looking for a new place to live and is willing to work with me and is willing to let me have my animals. I actually liked living here but I also disliked the constant management change but again I am willing to try for a 3 bedroom for rent.
Oct 23, 2022 · Ariel LangstonIt has been since October 28 2021 that i asked for my money back from Janet the park manager. I called on November 20 2021 and she hadnt even filled the paperwork out yet. Now i changed my mind about a trailer i was going to buy there. But i had a slimey apartment manager before i went to buy this trailer. He wanted to get me out because i said no to extracurricular activities he wanted. So June 28th when i fell at work and was off for 2 months he was able to evict me. Janet was so unprofessional about hearing his lies that she told the person i was buying the trailer from and caused a big mess. The pics on the website were taken years ago and i mean years ago. The park is so ran down and trashy its awful.Im still waiting for my $300 and no one answers the phone. My advice ...dont go here unless your desperate.
Dec 10, 2021 · Sandy PhillipsManagement is a joke... They are never there ... They only help the few tenants are left they actually like .. so yourself a favor and stay away... They are slowly raising prices and just trying to get everyone out ... Not a good place to raise kids at all
Mar 07, 2024 · Skylar JonesI can promise you, you do not own my trailer at all. I have the title not you. So think again. And if you pay attention to your records you would k ow my lot rent is never late. And i bet i could call roto rooter and get documentation that they have been to my address several times in the last 2-3 years. But i will call the EPA next time. And thats why there are police reports on your manager to back up all that i say.
Mar 14, 2019 · Dustin BrassI have lived here for 2 years & it's a nice place but I'm so sick of the changing managers and selling the place without letting the residents know anything. When it is in their lease they will contact you with any changes and they never do... They want you to stand on your side of the lease but they don't follow their rules
