They control your every move weather your kids have toys they can play with to weather you own a extra vehicle/trailer/ atv or boat no pools no basketball hoops if you have kids there’s not allowed to have any out door activity’s if you use a trailer for work better plan on leaven it someplace else even though you bought your home remember you rent the property so they tell you what you can and can’t do with a quickness but when it’s up to them to maintain the maintenance on there sheds they there isn’t any quickness about it more along the lines of non existent. Obviously the majority of the residents if any of them are not wealthy so why would they expect or make a rule where no one is allowed to do there own maintenance on there vehicles do they think everyone has the money to take there vehicle to a shop to have work done when a shop charges you 500 for a break job that should cost 50 bucks if you do it yourself not to mention you’ll be out of a vehicle for two days if taken to a shop but could be done in ten minutes if you do it yourself. Makes no sence and is one of the dumbest things a property management company could oppose as a rule. They must like those huge bills from auto shops that are a complete and total rip offs and should be illegal. But hey they hate them so figure you should get the same right - Brian Prichard

Squires Estates Introduce

While the platform category is "RV parks near me," the information provided pertains to Squires Estates, a mobile home community located at 643 NW Hickory St, McMinnville, OR 97128, USA. They can be contacted at (503) 434-9272 or +1 503-434-9272. It's important to understand that mobile home parks primarily offer long-term residency for manufactured homes, which generally differs from the short-term stays typical of RV parks. However, some mobile home communities might accommodate RVs for extended periods, making them a potential option for individuals seeking longer-term stays in McMinnville who are browsing "RV parks near me."

The available customer reviews for Squires Estates present contrasting perspectives on the community. One review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the park's rules and regulations, while another highlights the positive impact of the community manager. Understanding both viewpoints is crucial for anyone considering residing at Squires Estates, whether in a mobile home or potentially in an RV for a long-term arrangement.

The negative review strongly criticizes the perceived overreach of the park's management in controlling residents' activities. The reviewer claims that the management dictates various aspects of daily life, ranging from children's outdoor play to restrictions on owning extra vehicles, trailers, ATVs, or boats. The absence of recreational amenities such as "pools" or "basketball hoops" is also noted. A significant concern is raised regarding outdoor activities for children, with the reviewer stating they are "not allowed to have any out door activity’s." This would be a major drawback for families with children seeking an active outdoor lifestyle.

Furthermore, the strict rules allegedly extend to work-related equipment, with the reviewer advising those who use trailers for work to "better plan on leaven it someplace else." This suggests limitations on parking and storing work vehicles or equipment on residents' properties. The core of the complaint seems to stem from the feeling that despite owning their homes, residents are heavily restricted in what they can do on the rented land. The reviewer contrasts the swift enforcement of these rules by the management with a lack of promptness in maintaining park-owned structures, specifically mentioning "there sheds" where maintenance is described as "non existent."

A particularly strong point of contention in the negative review is the alleged prohibition on residents performing their own vehicle maintenance. The reviewer questions the logic behind this rule, especially given the financial constraints they believe many residents face ("Obviously the majority of the residents if any of them are not wealthy"). They argue that forcing residents to use expensive auto shops for even simple repairs is illogical and financially burdensome, highlighting the significant cost difference between DIY repairs and professional services, as well as the inconvenience of being without a vehicle for an extended period. The reviewer concludes this point by calling the no-DIY-maintenance rule "one of the dumbest things a property management company could oppose."

In contrast, the second review offers a positive perspective, focusing entirely on the community manager, Caitlyn Gleason. This reviewer praises Caitlyn as "great," "easy to talk to," and "always trying hard to help make the community look good." The lack of a clubhouse at their location is acknowledged as a challenge, but the reviewer appreciates Caitlyn's efforts to "come up with other ideas and things to do." They express gratitude for having a manager after a long period without one and commend Caitlyn for being "nice and dedicated to our community." This review suggests that while there might be issues with the park's rules or amenities, the current community manager is making a positive effort to improve the living experience for residents.

Considering these two reviews, the environment of Squires Estates appears to be one governed by strict rules and potentially limited amenities, particularly for families with children or individuals needing to store work-related vehicles. The absence of a clubhouse, as mentioned in the positive review, might further limit community activities or shared spaces. However, the presence of a dedicated and helpful community manager could contribute to a more positive social environment and address resident concerns, at least within the scope of their authority.

Specific services and features beyond the lack of a pool, basketball hoops, and clubhouse are not detailed in these reviews. There is no information about the availability of laundry facilities, pet policies, RV hookups (if long-term RV stays are permitted), or other common amenities found in RV or mobile home parks. The negative review implies a lack of maintenance on park-owned sheds, which could extend to other communal facilities if they exist. The positive review focuses solely on the manager's efforts to improve the community spirit despite the lack of a clubhouse.

Unsurprisingly, given the nature of the feedback, there is no promotional information available in these reviews. Details about lot rental rates for mobile homes or potential long-term RV spaces, security deposits, lease terms, or any special offers are not mentioned. To obtain this information, interested parties would need to contact Squires Estates directly at (503) 434-9272 or +1 503-434-9272. When inquiring, it would be wise to also ask for clarification on the park's rules regarding outdoor activities for children, parking of extra vehicles or trailers, and the policy on residents performing their own vehicle maintenance.

For local users in McMinnville, Oregon, searching for "RV parks near me" for a longer stay or considering mobile home living at Squires Estates, the information presents a mixed bag. The strict rules and limited amenities described in one review could be significant deterrents, especially for families or those needing to store vehicles or perform their own maintenance. However, the positive feedback regarding the community manager suggests a potentially responsive point of contact and an effort to foster a positive community despite these limitations. Potential residents or long-term RV occupants should carefully weigh these factors and prioritize direct communication with the park management to fully understand the rules, amenities, and overall living environment before making a decision. It would also be beneficial to inquire about the possibility of long-term RV stays and the specific amenities and regulations applicable to RVs, if permitted.

In conclusion, Squires Estates Mobile Home Community in McMinnville, OR, is characterized by strict rules and potentially limited amenities, as highlighted in one resident review. However, the presence of a dedicated community manager who actively tries to improve the community is a noted positive aspect. For local users seeking long-term residency, whether in a mobile home or potentially an RV, it is crucial to directly engage with the park management to gain a comprehensive understanding of the community's regulations, amenities, and overall living environment before making a commitment.
