Stock's Creek Introduce
If you are currently looking for "RV parks near me" in the Port Huron, Michigan area, Stock's Creek, located at 3730 Lapeer Rd #78, Port Huron, MI 48060, USA, is a mobile home park that may offer long-term options for recreational vehicles. While primarily serving residents of manufactured homes, some mobile home communities do accommodate RVs and provide the necessary infrastructure for extended stays. Exploring the possibilities at Stock's Creek could be a part of your search for a suitable "RV park near me."
Port Huron, situated in a geographically significant area where Lake Huron flows into the St. Clair River, offers a blend of natural beauty and local amenities. For those seeking "RV parks near me" that provide access to the Great Lakes region and the services of a mid-sized city, Port Huron and its surrounding communities present various potential locations, including mobile home parks like Stock's Creek.
The online reviews for Stock's Creek offer limited but potentially significant insights into the community's atmosphere and management style. One detailed review expresses strong dissatisfaction with the level of regulation within the park, comparing it unfavorably to a Homeowners Association (HOA) or even a "concentration camp." The reviewer cites specific examples of strict rules leading to fines, such as restrictions on parking visitors in residents' driveways (requiring them to use visitor parking located at the front of the park). This suggests a highly regulated environment that may not appeal to all individuals seeking a more relaxed or less restrictive living situation.
Furthermore, the same reviewer mentions a lack of stability in park management, stating that they "can't keep a park manager for more then a year." Frequent changes in management can sometimes lead to inconsistencies in policies and communication, which might be a concern for long-term residents, including those with RVs.
The reviewer concludes by advising those seeking good housing to look elsewhere, giving Stock's Creek a "4 thumbs down" rating. This strong negative sentiment regarding the regulatory environment and management stability should be carefully considered by anyone contemplating Stock's Creek as a potential "RV park near me."
The second review is brief and neutral, with the commenter stating that they do not live there and therefore cannot provide a rating. While this offers no direct insight into the living conditions, it underscores the limited firsthand information available online from residents.
Given the strong negative feedback regarding the restrictive rules and management turnover, it is crucial for anyone considering Stock's Creek as a potential "RV park near me" to conduct a thorough investigation. Contacting the management directly at (810) 966-4500 or +1 810-966-4500 is essential to obtain accurate and current information and to address the concerns raised in the review.
When you call Stock's Creek, be sure to ask specific questions relevant to your needs as an RV resident, including:
- Does Stock's Creek currently accommodate recreational vehicles for long-term stays?
- Are there designated spaces or lots available for RVs, and what are their specific features and hookups (water, sewer, electricity)?
- What are the monthly or long-term rental rates for RV spaces, and what is included in the price (e.g., utilities, amenities)?
- What are the community rules and regulations that would apply to RV residents, particularly regarding parking, visitors, and any potential fines?
- What amenities are available for residents, such as laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, or recreational areas?
- What is the current management situation, and how long has the current manager been in place?
- What is the process for addressing concerns or disputes that may arise within the community?
- Can you provide information about the general environment and the sense of community within Stock's Creek, beyond the regulatory aspects mentioned in the review?
It is particularly important to inquire about the specific rules and regulations that might impact RV residents and their visitors. Understanding the parking policies, guest guidelines, and any potential fines associated with non-compliance will help you determine if the living environment aligns with your preferences.
While the negative review highlights potential drawbacks, it is essential to get the management's perspective and understand if any changes have been made to address these concerns. A direct conversation can provide a more comprehensive understanding of the current living conditions and policies at Stock's Creek.
When searching for "RV parks near me," the overall living environment and the level of community regulation are important factors to consider. If you prefer a more relaxed and less rule-oriented setting, the feedback regarding Stock's Creek's strict regulations may be a significant deterrent. However, if you value a highly structured community with clear rules, it might be worth exploring further, provided other aspects such as amenities and maintenance meet your needs.
In conclusion, Stock's Creek in Port Huron, Michigan, is a mobile home park that may offer long-term RV accommodations. However, a significant online review raises concerns about a highly regulated environment with potential fines and frequent management turnover. Therefore, it is crucial to contact the management directly at (810) 966-4500 or +1 810-966-4500 to inquire specifically about RV accommodations, rules, regulations, and the current management situation. This direct engagement will enable you to make an informed decision about whether Stock's Creek aligns with your preferences for an "RV park near me."

Stock's Creek Reviews
If you love an HOA or that type of regulating in your living area. I think it feels more like a concentration camp. If you don't do this your fined, if you do this your fined, can't have people that visit park in your drive way they have to park in the visitor parking which is all the way in the front. They can't keep a park manager for more then a year. If you wanna find good housing. There's better places then this for sure. 4 thumbs down 👎

Apr 21, 2025 · Ashley BennettThis park is pathetic. Always increasing rent. Always nick picking. If they don't like it they leave a letter at door to change it. If they don't like the way yours blinds or drapes look they whine about it. I think its a invasion of privacy because they basically looking thru all your windows. I told my friend that and told them I would foot the bill for a lawyer if they wanted to sue this place for invasion of privacy and the excessive fees and excessive increasing of rent. If your grass is slightly longer than freshly cut because you away for a while you get a letter and threatening to fee you. $40 fee and then $20 to cut it. This park is so luxurious between a freeway, a cemetery, and a mosquito, tick infested swamp. If your living on social security I wouldn't waste your time because you won't be able to survive in this park.
Jun 10, 2024 · Kevin HaagMy family had been living here for along time, and we love it. The manager and the Manitance Man Matt has always been so helpful. Matt works very hard in maintaining everything that has to be done at the park. He does a wonderful job.We are very appreciative.
Apr 18, 2020 · Jennifer WatsonFor those who don't know, this is a mobile home park. If you drive through it looks very nice with playground and nice homes. However! Looks are deceiving. Myself and my family lives here for a short time, we dealt with the owners. They are a few "kids" from rich families that have more money than brains. They live in Virginia if that tells ya anything. Park is full of drugs and dealers alike. Anyone can and will get approved for these homes with very little money down. Most of the homes are falling apart and the owners refuse to fix them. Everyone shares the water bill so if you use less than your neighbor, too bad. Stay away from this park. Sorry this was so long.
