This mobile home park can be reached at (360) 253-5603 or via mobile phone at +1 360-253-5603.
When looking for RV parks or mobile home communities, it's essential to gather comprehensive information to make an informed decision. Online platforms categorized as "RV parks near me" often list various options, allowing potential residents to explore different environments, services, and features. Vancouver Lodge, while listed under this broad category, primarily functions as a mobile home park offering long-term residency.
To provide an objective introduction to Vancouver Lodge, it's crucial to consider all available information, including feedback from current and former residents. Online reviews can offer valuable insights into the day-to-day living experience within the community. Some reviews for Vancouver Lodge present a concerning picture, highlighting several potential challenges for prospective residents.
One recurring theme in the provided customer review is dissatisfaction with the park's management and the overall living conditions. The reviewer mentions experiencing six different owners within a four-year period, with the latest management being described as "the worst." This frequent change in ownership could potentially lead to inconsistencies in management practices and community upkeep.
The review also raises significant concerns regarding infrastructure and maintenance. Issues with the septic system are mentioned, along with intermittent water supply problems during winter. Furthermore, the electrical infrastructure is described as outdated, dating back to the 1960s, leading to frequent electrical problems. The lack of on-site management is also highlighted as a major drawback, potentially causing delays in addressing maintenance issues or emergencies, especially outside of regular hours or on weekends.
Another critical point raised in the review is the significant increase in rent. Residents reportedly experienced a substantial rent hike from $650 to $1,000 within a two-month notice period. This increase is described as unaffordable for many residents, particularly the elderly or those on disability, raising concerns about the long-term affordability of living at Vancouver Lodge.
Beyond infrastructure and management, the review also mentions concerns about safety and the presence of "drugies prowling around." This is a serious allegation that potential residents should consider and potentially investigate further if considering this location.
The second review provided further reinforces the negative experiences. It recounts a deeply troubling situation where a dying resident with significant health issues was allegedly sold a "condemned/deemed unlivable unit" by the managers/landlords. This raises serious ethical and safety questions about the management's practices and the condition of some of the units within the park.
Considering this feedback, prospective residents searching for "RV parks near me" who come across Vancouver Lodge should exercise significant caution and conduct thorough due diligence. While the park exists at the mentioned address and phone number, the experiences shared by past residents paint a concerning picture of the living environment, management responsiveness, infrastructure maintenance, and affordability.
When evaluating mobile home parks or RV communities, it's essential to look beyond basic listings and delve into the experiences of those who have lived there. Factors to consider typically include the quality of amenities, the responsiveness of management, the maintenance of common areas and infrastructure, the sense of community, safety, and the overall cost of living, including lot rent and any additional fees.
For individuals specifically searching for "RV parks near me" with the intention of short-term or recreational vehicle stays, Vancouver Lodge, based on the available information, may not be the most suitable option. The reviews primarily focus on the experiences of long-term mobile home residents and highlight issues that could significantly impact the quality of life for anyone residing there, whether in a mobile home or an RV.
If you are looking for RV parks in the Vancouver, WA area for temporary stays or recreational purposes, it would be advisable to explore other options that specifically cater to RVs and offer appropriate amenities and services for short-term visitors. These might include parks with designated RV sites, hookups for water, electricity, and sewer, as well as amenities like restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and recreational areas.
For those considering long-term mobile home living in the Vancouver area, the negative feedback regarding Vancouver Lodge warrants careful consideration. It would be prudent to investigate further, perhaps by visiting the property (if possible and safe), speaking with current residents (if feasible), and inquiring directly with the management about the concerns raised in the reviews. However, based solely on the provided customer feedback, there appear to be significant challenges associated with this particular mobile home park.
In conclusion, while Vancouver Lodge may appear in searches for "RV parks near me" due to its nature as a mobile home park offering residency, the available customer reviews present a concerning outlook regarding its management, maintenance, affordability, and overall living conditions. Potential residents are strongly advised to proceed with extreme caution and conduct thorough research before considering this location as a long-term living option. Exploring other RV parks and mobile home communities in the Vancouver, WA area with more positive feedback would likely be a more prudent approach to finding a suitable and comfortable living environment.

Vancouver Lodge Reviews
We have lived here now for almost 4 yrs, gone throw 6 owners and the latest ARE THE WORST! If Y'all can find a different place to goI'M BEGGING DON'T COME HERE!!! The septic has ALL Kinds of issues, water works but winter it Won't, electric problems all the time because they Refuse to up date the "1960's" meter boxes. No Management on sight Ever, God forbid you have amy kind of problem... From sewer to drugies prowling around Y'all's home when you call "Management" she has to call Her Boss to get Permission to come over here...So Pray Nothing happens at night or on the weekends.AND they raise the rent by leaps and bounds We were paying $650 for 3 1/2 yrs then they give us 2 months notice it's going to $1,000 a month. Most people here are Elderly or on Disability and just can't afford that. Even if I could afford it NO WAY I WOULD PAY THAT MUCH FPR THIS PLACE!!!
Apr 16, 2024 · Shella YoungManagers/landlords sold my dying friend with diabietes and many kinds of cancer a condemned/deemed unlivable unit. The big brown one thats technically 2 units on the right side and the left side thats meant for management/landlord's office i believe, which he never actually is in or uses, fkr obvious reasons.
Apr 26, 2021 · Hugh JanisThey're trying to clean it up and it looks like it's getting better, but there's a really bad cockroach problem here. We would have stayed longer otherwise.
Sep 16, 2021 · Red FreseThey are a cheaper place to rent and the new landlords are doing a great job if cleaning it up
