Village Inn & RV Park Introduce
For local users exploring 'RV parks near me' in the Orlando, Florida area, Village Inn & RV Park, located at 17883 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32820, presents a situation that requires careful consideration based on recent customer feedback available online. The reviews paint a concerning picture regarding the park's management, rules, amenities, and overall condition.
One potential visitor recounted a negative initial experience simply trying to access the office, stating they "stood outside awhile til someone finally opened the office door." This raises questions about the park's accessibility and responsiveness to prospective guests. Furthermore, this reviewer noted that the park's rules were not clearly presented, but rather "scribbled on pieces of paper all over office," suggesting a lack of organization and potentially inconsistent enforcement.
The same reviewer also highlighted the cost of staying at Village Inn & RV Park, stating that the RV lot rent is $800 per month with an $800 deposit, or $255 per week. This pricing, especially when considered in conjunction with other reported issues, may not represent good value compared to other 'RV parks near me' in the vicinity. Additionally, the park reportedly has strict occupancy limits, allowing a maximum of only two people per camper, and explicitly prohibits pets. The reviewer also mentioned a negative reaction from the management upon disclosing the presence of a child, which could be a significant deterrent for families.
Another reviewer provided a scathing account of their experience, describing the landlord as a "hot head" and "very nosy." This individual claimed that there were "no rules and regulations posted," leading to rules being made up "on the fly." Such inconsistency can create a stressful and unpredictable living environment for RVers seeking a stable and well-managed park.
A significant operational concern raised was the requirement for "CASH ONLY" payments. This policy can be inconvenient for many travelers who prefer to use credit or debit cards for security and record-keeping purposes. The insistence on cash-only transactions might also raise questions about the park's financial practices.
The experience of being shown and told to choose any lot, only to be placed somewhere else, suggests a lack of transparency and potentially poor communication regarding site assignments. This bait-and-switch tactic can be frustrating and erode trust between the park management and its guests.
The physical condition of Village Inn & RV Park also appears to be a major issue, with one reviewer stating, "Campsite is rundown." Another described seeing "trailers framed out on the ground," implying neglected or abandoned units within the park. This lack of upkeep can detract significantly from the aesthetic appeal and overall quality of the RV park.
The inconsistency in enforcing cleanliness standards was also noted. While one reviewer with a "thin layer of algae" on their fifth wheel was told it needed cleaning, they observed other trailers with "literal trash on the roof." This disparity in enforcement suggests a lack of consistent park maintenance and management oversight.
Furthermore, parking regulations seem to be inconsistently applied. A "two car limit" was mentioned, yet the reviewer observed a lot with "3 classic cars a dually and another vehicle on it." Such selective enforcement can lead to resentment and a perception of unfairness among residents and guests.
Perhaps the most damning assessment of the physical environment comes from the reviewer who stated, "The lots are straight grass NO AMENITIES. This isnt even good enough to sleep overnight. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else." This stark evaluation underscores the potential lack of basic facilities and the poor condition of the RV sites.
Considering these reviews, local users searching for 'RV parks near me' should approach Village Inn & RV Park with extreme caution. The consistent themes of poor management, inconsistent and seemingly arbitrary rules, lack of amenities, rundown conditions, unexpected payment requirements, and negative interactions with the landlord paint a concerning picture. The high lot rent and deposit, coupled with the restrictive policies on occupancy and pets, further diminish the park's appeal.
For those seeking a comfortable, well-managed, and reasonably priced RV park in the Orlando area, the feedback suggests that Village Inn & RV Park may not meet these criteria. The lack of posted rules, the cash-only payment policy, and the discrepancies in site assignments and enforcement of regulations could lead to a stressful and unpleasant experience.
The absence of reported amenities is a significant drawback for RV travelers who often rely on facilities such as laundry rooms, restrooms, showers, recreational areas, and reliable utility hookups. The description of "straight grass NO AMENITIES" indicates a very basic and potentially uncomfortable living situation.
In conclusion, based on the available online reviews, Village Inn & RV Park appears to be a poorly managed and maintained facility with high rental costs, restrictive and inconsistently enforced rules, a lack of amenities, and a potentially confrontational landlord. Local users searching for 'RV parks near me' in Orlando would be well-advised to thoroughly investigate other options before considering a stay at Village Inn & RV Park. The overwhelmingly negative feedback suggests a high risk of a disappointing and unsatisfactory experience. It would be prudent to look for RV parks with more positive reviews that highlight clear rules, अच्छी amenities, professional management, and a welcoming environment.

Went over there and stood outside awhile til someone finally opened the office door. Rules are scribbled on pieces of paper all over office. Campsite is rundown. The rv lot rent is now $800 a month and $800 deposit, or $255 a week. Only 2 people max in camper, and no pets allowed. He frowned when I told him I have a child.

Oct 05, 2023 · Nick CaleyGreat price and staff. Friendly neighbors. Very quiet
Aug 23, 2020 · Wanda PayneIt's clean. The "road" needs to be fixed. Pot holes an such. I have not seen no zombies. But then again I'm not outside all hours of the night. It is quite for the most part. Most of the neighbors friendly. Sum not so much. But you get that in a community. Trailer park, subdivision, etc.
