Amazing campsite just outside the St. Mary entrance to Glacier NP. Less than a minute from stores, restaurants, and the park entrance but still peaceful, quiet, and beautiful.Matt and Veronica make you feel like family from the moment you check in. They even let us borrow bear spray and grilling utensils for cooking over the bonfire. Really, everyone we met at the campground was friendly and kind.Stayed in a cabin which was cozy and pretty comfortable. Pit toilets were as clean as you could expect and the potable water was very convenient and clean. Also, make sure to check out the river right by the campground. Made for an amazing ice bath after a couple long days of hiking!
Aug 07, 2024 · PanosWe recently stayed here for 2 nights and it was a pretty good experience. It was exactly as described. The views were amazing from the river and we had our own fire pit and picnic table. The logs by the fire pit were a great addition as well. The owners were so great to interact with and you cant get much closer to Glacier without actually being in the park. We would definitely stay here again.
Jul 19, 2024 · Ashley RobertsLittle hidden gem, dude at the front desk was chill and nice, rolled up on our motorcycle and found us a spot. Had showers for 5 bucks. It was nice since it's few minutes from glacier entrance! Thanks again from Wisconsin!
Sep 23, 2024 · Bryan KussSecond time back this year from Alberta. This campground is awesome- from the dog greets and the warm hospitality of the owners to river views and clean pit toilets. It served as an awesome home base to further venture to Two Medicine (45 mins) and Many Glacier (30 mins) while being conveniently close to the border. The river access is such a special perk. Stayed at site 31 and this was the view one site over (see photo). Also stayed in the cabin the first time and it was really cozy and clean. Would love if more of them existed tucked away at the campsites ;)
Sep 01, 2024 · Jenn LippaThis place was fantastic for my family. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, the location is unbelievable, being so close to Glacier National Park, and it's steps away from the St. Mary River, which was beautiful.Obviously, Glacier is incredible, but my kids never wanted to leave the river at the campground - it was stunning and had multiple great spots for the kids to swim and play. The sites are dry sites, so no hook ups for water or electricity, but they have water for you to use to fill up jugs or your camper. We would definitely stay here again!
