Heather Manor Introduce
Heather Manor is a mobile home park located at 655 NE Burnett Rd in McMinnville, Oregon. While the platform category is "RV parks near me," the available information and customer reviews indicate that Heather Manor primarily serves as a residential community for mobile homes rather than a park for recreational vehicles. Therefore, local users searching for RV parks in the area should note this distinction. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Heather Manor based on the feedback from its residents, covering aspects such as the environment, management practices, and overall atmosphere.
The limited information available consists of two contrasting customer reviews, offering different perspectives on life at Heather Manor. One review expresses significant concerns regarding the management practices of the real estate company that owns the park. This reviewer alleges that the company has engaged in harmful practices towards residents, including sending out what are described as "illegal eviction notices" based on subjective criteria such as the appearance of a resident's property ("your place is too ugly"). Such allegations, if accurate, raise serious concerns about the security and fairness of tenancy within Heather Manor.
Furthermore, the same reviewer describes a demanding and seemingly continuous list of maintenance tasks imposed on residents. They mention receiving a "2 page chore list" annually, characterizing it as a "never ending to do list." This suggests a potentially high level of required upkeep for residents' lots, which could be burdensome for some individuals. It also implies a certain level of scrutiny and potential enforcement by the management regarding the aesthetic standards of each property.
The review also highlights a practice of the management frequently sending out flyers inquiring if residents wish to sell their homes. The reviewer suggests a potential financial motive behind this, stating that when residents sell, the park can charge more for rent to new occupants. This implies a dynamic where long-term residents might feel pressure to sell, potentially driven by the park's interest in increasing revenue through higher rental rates for new tenants.
In contrast to these serious allegations, the second review offers a more positive perspective on the living environment at Heather Manor. This reviewer describes the park as "quite quiet and a friendly pace to live." This suggests that despite the concerns raised about management practices, the overall atmosphere within the community might be peaceful and the residents may experience a sense of neighborliness. The "friendly pace" could indicate a relaxed and unhurried lifestyle within the park.
Considering these contrasting viewpoints, it is challenging to form a definitive overall picture of Heather Manor. The negative review raises significant red flags regarding management practices and the potential for unfair treatment of residents. The allegations of illegal eviction notices and a burdensome chore list could create a stressful living environment. The perceived incentive for the management to encourage residents to sell also introduces a layer of instability for long-term homeowners within the park.
On the other hand, the positive review highlights the potential for a quiet and friendly living experience. This suggests that the community itself might have positive social dynamics and a peaceful atmosphere, which are important factors for many individuals seeking a place to reside.
Due to the conflicting nature of the limited available information, it is difficult to objectively describe the services and features of Heather Manor. Typically, mobile home parks offer essential services such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups for the homes, as well as waste management. Some parks may also provide amenities like laundry facilities, community centers, or recreational areas. However, the provided reviews do not mention any specific services or features of Heather Manor. The focus of the negative review is primarily on management practices and the required upkeep of individual lots, rather than the communal amenities of the park.
Similarly, there is no explicit promotional information available for Heather Manor in the provided text. The information consists solely of customer reviews offering personal experiences and observations. The contrasting nature of these reviews does not lend itself to a straightforward promotional message. The positive aspect of a "quiet and friendly pace" could be seen as a subtle positive attribute for those seeking a peaceful living environment, but it is not presented as a formal promotion.
For local users in McMinnville, Oregon, searching within the "RV parks near me" category (though Heather Manor appears to be a mobile home park), it is crucial to carefully consider the information presented in these reviews. The serious allegations regarding management practices should not be overlooked and warrant further investigation by any prospective residents. While the park may offer a quiet and friendly atmosphere according to one reviewer, the potential for unfair treatment and burdensome regulations, as described by the other, presents significant risks.
Individuals considering Heather Manor as a place to live should attempt to gather more information from various sources. This could include seeking out additional reviews, if available, and, most importantly, contacting the management directly to inquire about their policies, regulations, and tenant rights. Speaking with current residents, if possible, could also provide valuable insights into the day-to-day living experience at Heather Manor and the accuracy of the claims made in the reviews.
In conclusion, Heather Manor in McMinnville, Oregon, appears to be a mobile home park with a potentially contrasting living experience for its residents. While one reviewer describes a quiet and friendly atmosphere, another raises serious concerns about the management practices, including alleged illegal eviction notices and a demanding chore list. The lack of information regarding specific services and features, as well as the absence of promotional material, further necessitates thorough due diligence by any local users considering residing at Heather Manor. The significant allegations against the management should be a primary focus of this investigation to ensure a safe and fair living environment.

Heather Manor Reviews
It is owned by a real estate company. They have sent out illegal eviction notices to harm residents. The eviction says that your place is too ugly. Every year they send out a 2 page chore list and it's a never ending to do list. They send flyers constantly asking if you want to sell. If people sell they can charge more for rent.

Feb 21, 2025 · Grill Master John JKempWhile owning a home here, the management took my money orders for lot rent and accepted payment. Then held on to them until the 6 th of the month, a day past the due date. Then they knocked on my door and handed them back to me, forced me to sign a photo copy of them, and refused my payment. Then I crossed Heather Manor off and put my name in to deposit the money in my account. The bank wouldn't deposit them , so I had to go back to Plaid Pantry and they replaced them after paying for another fee. Then I signed them and deposited them in my account. I was very tired from walking to get this done in the summer heat . I collapsed two times on my way home. I woke up the next morning and I found a 72 hr eviction notice for non payment and said I was late on my lot rent and there was a $100.00 late fee added. They took me to court and because I am disabled with a Traumatic Brain Injury and couldn't keep up with the proceedings, I didn't know what was going on, they had a secret meeting at the courthouse and made me wait in the hallway. They closed the door and then I had to sign a paper or they were going to evict me in 3 days. The paper had more money added to the next month than I could afford, and my ex- wife who is remarried, was allowed to be present.I have until Nov. 30th at midnight to vacate and I am being forced to sell my home. I have nowhere to go, and if I can't sell my home , I have to leave my home , my belongings and never go back or I will be arrested and put in jail. I am on disability and I'm living without a caregiver. For two years now I have been telling everyone, police, management, DHS, NWSDS, Ombudsman, protective services, lawyers, judges, DRO, ADA. I am so stressed out from the way they are doing this to me. I can't rent my rooms anymore and that is the income I needed to get my house up to market value. Now assessment value is what I will get, and that pays for the mortgage. You decide on your own and I don't know how they will treat you, but I am Disabled with TBI, cognitive communication defecit, post concussion syndrome, stroke, chronic Tinnitus, chronic neck injury, hearing loss bilateral PTSD, arthritis, gout ..They made me do physical work in the middle of winter with my electricity turned off. They are victimizing me and I have to deal with all of it alone at 54 years old and physically disabled.

Please send all correspondence to topothompson00@gmail.com and I will be very happy to see any paperwork regarding any similar circumstances by Commonwealth Management Group. I am now ready to finish up with this, horrible mistake that was made, by initiating a negotiable settlement. I am willing to accept my equivalent for the property plus equal amount for pain and suffering from the Federal laws that were broken..
