Heritage Heights Introduce
For local users in Columbus, Indiana, and the surrounding areas who are searching within the "rv parks near me" category or are considering mobile home park living, Heritage Heights, located at 2895 Henry Lakes Blvd S, Columbus, IN 47201, presents itself as a potential option. You can contact them at (812) 526-4126 or +1 812-526-4126 for inquiries. Similar to other mobile home parks, Heritage Heights may primarily serve as a long-term residential community, and local users specifically seeking short-term RV parks should confirm their accommodation policies directly with the management.
Based on recent customer reviews, Heritage Heights appears to be a mobile home park with significant issues reported by its residents. One review strongly advises against living in the park, particularly in a new trailer. The reviewer claims that new trailers in the park are of poor quality and prone to falling apart, citing specific examples such as batten strips falling out and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors frequently going off even during normal household activities like cooking or showering with hot water. This suggests potential issues with the construction or ventilation of the new trailers within the park.
Furthermore, this reviewer alleges that floors in the new trailers are already falling through by the door due to the absence of storm doors, indicating a lack of durability and potential structural problems. A significant environmental concern raised is the high noise level, described as "very very noisy above the decimal point," especially for residents living near the interstate. This suggests that the park's location near a major highway may lead to considerable noise pollution, which could negatively impact the quality of life for residents sensitive to noise. The reviewer also mentions "trash in your yard" as a common occurrence, pointing to potential issues with waste management or the behavior of some residents, contributing to an unkempt environment.
Another long-term resident, who had lived in Heritage Heights for six years, also raises serious concerns about the management. While they initially had a relatively minor issue with a missing dishwasher that took four years to resolve, they note a significant decline in management quality over time. The current management is accused of bullying and harassing employees to the point of tears and resignation, leading to chronic understaffing. This reviewer claims that the management treats tenants in a similar manner, creating a hostile living environment. The reviewer states they are facing eviction allegedly due to approaching eligibility for squatters rights and common law ownership, suggesting a retaliatory motive tied to their long-term residency.
Adding to the negative portrayal of management, this long-term resident believes their eviction was triggered by being seen conversing with a former employee. They strongly recommend applying for residency elsewhere, suggesting that Heritage Heights should be considered a last resort for living. A specific and seemingly arbitrary rule mentioned is regarding children leaving their toys in the yard (for which residents pay), indicating a potentially overly strict or unfriendly attitude towards families with children.
Considering these reviews, the environment of Heritage Heights appears to be negatively impacted by noise pollution from the nearby interstate and potential issues with trash accumulation in yards. The quality of the new trailers within the park is a significant concern, with allegations of poor construction and rapid deterioration. The overall atmosphere, as described by one long-term resident, seems to have become increasingly negative due to the current management's alleged bullying and harassment of both employees and tenants.
In terms of services and features, the reviews provide limited positive information. The fact that a resident had to wait four years for a dishwasher to be replaced suggests that responsiveness to maintenance requests might be slow or inconsistent. The mention of potential eviction for long-term residents nearing certain legal statuses indicates a potentially adversarial relationship between management and tenants. The alleged strict rules regarding children's toys in their own yards further point to a restrictive living environment.
The lack of positive mentions regarding amenities or community features, coupled with the serious allegations against the management and the quality of housing, paints a concerning picture for potential local users considering Heritage Heights. There is no indication of any efforts to address the noise from the interstate or to improve waste management within the park based on these reviews.
There is no promotional information whatsoever in the provided text. The reviews focus solely on negative experiences related to the quality of the trailers and the management practices.
For local users in Columbus, Indiana, searching for "rv parks near me" or considering long-term residency in a mobile home park, Heritage Heights presents significant red flags based on recent customer feedback. The serious allegations regarding the poor quality of new trailers, the high noise levels from the interstate, potential issues with trash, and, most notably, the accusations of bullying and retaliatory behavior by the management towards both employees and tenants, should give potential residents considerable pause. The recommendation from a long-term resident to consider Heritage Heights as a last resort further underscores the gravity of these concerns. Local users seeking a stable, well-maintained, and positively managed living environment would be well-advised to thoroughly investigate these claims and potentially seek alternative options for "rv parks near me" or mobile home communities in the Columbus area.
In conclusion, the information available regarding Heritage Heights mobile home park in Columbus, Indiana, paints a concerning picture. Allegations of poor quality new trailers, significant noise from the interstate, potential trash issues, and serious accusations of bullying and retaliatory management practices dominate the recent reviews. Local users searching for "rv parks near me" or long-term housing should carefully consider these negative reports and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Heritage Heights as a viable option. The lack of any positive feedback regarding management or amenities, coupled with the strong warnings from former and current residents, suggests that potential applicants should proceed with extreme caution and explore alternative living arrangements.

Heritage Heights Reviews
Would not recommend, especially living in a new trailer. They fall apart all your batten strips will fall out your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are going to go off every time you cook when the heat turns on. Even if you take a hot enough shower. The floors are falling through by the door already because there are no storm doors. It is very very noisy above the decimal point especially if you live by the interstate. So if you're into a lot of noise, trash in your yard, and renting a brand new never lived in trailer that's falling apart. This is the place for you.
Apr 04, 2025 · Rebecca RooksI've lived here for 6 years. The only issue I had was not having a dish washer for 4 years before management got me a new one. At that time, management was decent. Now, there's management that bully and harass employees to the point of tears and/or they quit. So they are always short staffed. Management treats the tenants the same way. I'm being evicted because I'm almost eligible for squatters rights and common law ownership. Also, it's no coincidence that i was seen chatting with an ex-employee, and the next day, the eviction was placed on my door. I would highly suggest applying somewhere else or at the least make Heritage Heights your very last option for living. And heaven forbid you have kids that play outside and leave their toys in the yard that you pay for. Jeez.
Apr 14, 2025 · Tasha RobateauWhat a joke the only two people that showed up to work on a regular basis, this place let them walk out vs getting rid of the original problem in adequate management. Seems like a repetitive issue with this place! The last bunch was horrific and this one here isn’t any better uses the company vehicle for whatever they want to whenever they want to and are never at work! They push all work off onto others and any time you call management is not in! Nor do you get a call back. Now the two girls are gone…. Residence will never be able to contact anyone. Time to move!
Mar 04, 2025 · B KCorporate needs to look into the management practices at this trailer park. Raising rent, hiring or firing of employees over some minor infraction. Perhaps corporate should find management that will work with the tenants instead of evicting them. I wouldn't recommend living there.
