If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Astoria area, Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park offers a unique combination of recreational opportunities with its on-site golf course alongside RV accommodations. This dual offering provides a distinctive experience for travelers and locals looking for a getaway that combines outdoor activities with the comforts of RV living.
Based on available customer reviews, the environment at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park seems to have both positive and negative aspects. One reviewer describes the park as "great" and mentions it being "clean, and well kept," suggesting a pleasant and well-maintained setting. This positive perspective is reinforced by another long-time visitor who "LOVE" the park and praises its cleanliness and upkeep. These comments indicate that many guests have experienced a welcoming and cared-for environment during their stays.
However, it's important to acknowledge a contrasting review that raises concerns about the park's management and site conditions. This reviewer states there was "No Manager or call back with any information" and describes the sites as "Over priced" and "not level making it imposable to use." This feedback suggests potential inconsistencies in management responsiveness and the quality of some RV sites. It's worth noting that this review also makes broader allegations about the management of other campgrounds associated with the same entity, although these fall outside the scope of an objective introduction to Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park itself.
The services and features of Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park are somewhat implied by its name and the limited review information. The inclusion of "Golf" in the name clearly indicates the presence of a golf course, which is a significant feature for RV enthusiasts who also enjoy playing golf. This provides a unique amenity not commonly found at all RV parks, offering convenience and recreation right on-site. The "RV Park" designation confirms the availability of RV sites with necessary hookups, although the specifics of these hookups (e.g., water, electricity, sewer) are not detailed in the provided information.
The positive review mentions the owners being "fantastic" and making guests feel "so welcome." This suggests a personal and hospitable approach from the ownership, contributing to a positive guest experience for some. The reviewer also highlights the park as their "favorite place to stay" when returning to their hometown, indicating a sense of comfort and familiarity. This positive sentiment underscores the potential for a very welcoming and enjoyable stay for many visitors.
Conversely, the negative review's mention of a lack of manager responsiveness raises concerns about the level of service that might be consistently available. Difficulty in obtaining information or assistance can significantly impact a guest's experience. Additionally, the issue of unlevel sites, if widespread, would detract from the comfort and usability of the RV parking areas. Leveling an RV is crucial for the proper functioning of appliances and overall stability, so this is a significant factor for RV travelers.

Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park Reviews
No Manager or call back with any information. Over priced sites are not level making it imposable to use.It also looks like they've bought up a bunch of campgrounds on RT 14 and in Vancouver WA. All of them poorly run.You would do well to stay clear.
Nov 08, 2024 · Herb HarrisWe've stayed at this great RV park many, many times and we LOVE it. The owners are fantastic and make you feel so welcome. We grew up in Astoria and return for reunions and this is without a doubt our favorite place to stay. Clean, and well kept, can't say enough good things about every aspect of this park!
Apr 13, 2024 · Judi TolboeThe park is very nice and clean (the grounds themselves). That, and the owner doesn't allow riff raff in. The laundry room is hideously expensive, not super efficient and not nearly well equipped enough to handle the amount of people that need to use it. I have been here for 2 years. The bathrooms get cleaned once or twice all winter. The sewage occasionally comes up through the floor drain while you are in the shower. The bathrooms only get cleaned during tourist season...and that is not daily. The owner, Linda is horribly rude and makes up rules and fees as she goes along. I have never once gotten a receipt for my rent or outrageously high electric bill. Our son came to spend the weekend with us and she yelled at him when he went to take a shower, quizzing about who he was and what he was doing there. He said he was there to see me and then she yelled at him for something she thought my dog did...he had no clue what she was talking about. She rides around on her golf cart looking for someone doing something wrong. She takes the time to give you a list of rules when you get here, but never a receipt for all the money you will shell out. When we first got here, she badmouthed Kampers West. We have stayed there before as well, and while the park is not as nice and the sites are way too close together, they do not charge for electricity and they don't make up fees and rules that change from day to day. The best thing about Kampers West is that they have two huge bathrooms and at least 5 showers. The bathrooms get cleaned EVERY SINGLE DAY and they have twice the amount of people in their park. There are also 7 washers and dryers. I am only here because it is minutes from work and the park itself is pretty and relatively quiet. It would be much more enjoyable if the owner spent more time making sure that the bathrooms were clean and that there wasn't poop splatter left on the toilets for DAYS, but she is far more concerned about whether or not someone has an extra car parked at their site for a few minutes. If you have company, they have to park in the overflow parking and walk to your site or you have to move your car to overflow so your guest can park at your site. I only wish that kind of attention was paid to the toilets and shower...the ONE shower. There is no excuse for the facilities not being cleaned at least daily. Especially for what she charges.
Sep 15, 2024 · SelenajoVery rude staff, stalked my daughter who lived here for a year and a half, illegally charged her extra fees for her dogs and extra parking fees plus they made up new rules daily and harassed her. The showers were disgusting, the water pressure sucked, the laundry facilities are a joke, it takes $9 to dry one load of laundry. They refused to give receipts when paying rent and they charge you power and you have to just trust that your trailer is using $200 in power a month because that's what they say. Why was her rent $650 a month and 3 months later when I moved in they charged me $850 for a smaller trailer. All around worst place to park your trailer.
