Woodland Valley Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Bellevue, Nebraska area? It's important to clarify that Woodland Valley, located at 2902 Hancock St LOT 19, Bellevue, NE 68005, is a manufactured home community offering long-term residential living rather than short-term RV accommodations. While it might appear in broader searches for housing, its primary focus is on providing a community for manufactured homes.
Based on the available reviews, Woodland Valley appears to be undergoing a transition, particularly in terms of management and property upkeep. One reviewer, who had visited the park multiple times over the years while seeking a home, noted a significant difference in the current management compared to the previous one. They praised the former manager for consistently going "above and beyond" for the residents. In contrast, the current situation is described as one where finding anyone in the office is a matter of luck. This suggests a potential decline in on-site management presence and accessibility, which could impact the residents' experience and the efficiency of addressing community needs.
Furthermore, the same reviewer observed that the property "needs a lot of work" and does not resemble its previous condition. This implies a potential decline in the overall maintenance and appearance of Woodland Valley, which could be a concern for prospective residents seeking a well-maintained living environment.
In contrast, another resident shared a positive experience related to a specific event: the flood of August 2018. This resident, who had lived at "Green Acres" (it's unclear if this is a previous name for Woodland Valley or a different community under the same ownership/management) and lost their home in the flood, commended "Strive Communities" for their wonderful support to all their residents during that challenging time. This positive experience led them to return to the community (presumably Woodland Valley, given the context) and purchase a new double-wide home in 2018. The resident views the flood as a "blessing in disguise" and describes the current management as "super nice." This suggests that while there might be concerns about property maintenance and office presence, some residents have had positive interactions with the current management, particularly in the context of significant life events.
Considering these two reviews, Woodland Valley presents a complex picture for local users seeking long-term housing in a manufactured home community in Bellevue, Nebraska:
- Management Transition: There appears to have been a change in management, with the previous manager being highly regarded for their dedication to residents, while the current management's accessibility is a concern for at least one reviewer. However, another resident found the current management to be "super nice," indicating potentially varied experiences or improvements over time.
- Property Maintenance Needs: One review suggests that the property is in need of significant work and has declined in appearance compared to the past. This could be a crucial factor for prospective residents who value a well-maintained community.
- Flood Recovery Support: The positive review highlights the commendable support provided by "Strive Communities" (potentially the ownership or management group) to residents affected by the 2018 flood. This demonstrates a commitment to the well-being of the residents during times of crisis.
- Homeownership Opportunities: The resident who returned after the flood now owns their home within the community, suggesting that Woodland Valley offers opportunities for manufactured homeownership.
Given the limited information and the contrasting viewpoints, local users interested in Woodland Valley should delve deeper to understand the current state of the community. The phone numbers provided, (402) 207-0476 and +1 402-207-0476, offer a direct means of contacting the management to inquire about current conditions, maintenance plans, and management accessibility.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of Woodland Valley, prospective residents might consider:
- Visiting the Community: A personal visit would allow for a firsthand assessment of the property's condition, the accessibility of the management office, and the overall environment of the community.
- Inquiring About Maintenance: Directly ask the management about any ongoing or planned maintenance and improvement projects for the property.
- Meeting Current Residents (If Possible): Speaking with current residents could provide valuable insights into their experiences with the current management and the overall living conditions in Woodland Valley.
- Clarifying Management Presence: Inquire about the typical office hours and the best way to contact management for assistance.
While the platform category might lead some to consider Woodland Valley as an "RV park near me," it functions primarily as a manufactured home community for long-term residents. The experiences shared by reviewers indicate a period of transition and potentially varying levels of satisfaction depending on the individual's tenure and specific circumstances. The positive feedback regarding flood recovery support suggests a degree of care for the residents, but the concerns about property maintenance and management accessibility need to be addressed by prospective residents.
In conclusion, Woodland Valley in Bellevue, NE, offers long-term living in a manufactured home community with a history that includes significant events like the 2018 flood, during which the management ("Strive Communities") provided commendable support. However, recent reviews also point to potential challenges related to property maintenance and the accessibility of the current management. Local users interested in this community should contact the management directly and, if possible, visit the property to form their own assessment based on the current conditions and their individual needs for long-term housing.

Woodland Valley Reviews
I have visited this park several times throughout the years looking for the perfect home and was always greated by the previous manager. She went above and beyond for everyone who lives there. Nowadays you are lucky if you find anyone in office. The property needs a lot of work. Looks nothing like it did previously.
Sep 20, 2023 · Nicolas BonillaI have lived at Green Acres since August 2018. I lost my home to the flood but Strive Communities was wonderful to all their residents. We decided to come back and now we own our 2018 double wide. The flood was a blessing im disguise. Management is super nice.
Nov 10, 2019 · Perla Ramos-DiazMy daughter lives in this park an has a maintenance man who follows her an all her friends through the park I as her mother cannot even visit with out him following through the park I fill quite intimidating an am starting to fear for my safety especially at night if I go over to visit her the maintenance man follows me there an sets across the street from her home till I leave like I an my husband or son are criminals. Aug 19, 2022 · Marti FinkLived here for several years and now with this new management/ company its gone down hill bad. They say they will fix an issue and never does. People are right when they say its a horrible place to live. I have had to calla news station for them to even fix a problem and that's only because the news station called them. Houses are falling apart they owm but yet there bringing brand new houses on. Fix whats wrong first them bring houses in. No matter how many months you have gone to them about water pouring in your yard from underground they do not care to hurry and fix it. Even if its a health hazard. Was called green acres. Horrible place and people. When the flood came in March, the people worked there came in and took my kids piggy banks and many tools and etc.
Mar 10, 2020 · Ashley AbbasThey don't fix the roads. There are pot holes everywhere. Basically bottom out every time you go over a bump. They tell you to fix your yard and give you less than 24 hours to even do it...and apparently having a broken blind in one room is also a big nono....basically your house needs to be perfect in order for you to live here. And they have horrible communication. They all leave the office before it even closes, most of the time around 12. If I could give a 0, I would. I don't understand why a broken blind is such a community violation....it is in my house. Half of these houses are worse then mine and nothing is being done about them...
