While this is not a reflection on the campground itself, it's an aspect that some visitors might encounter at any popular camping location. The same reviewer also noted that for those seeking complete isolation from people, a paid site like Tie Creek might not be the ideal choice, as it tends to attract other campers looking to enjoy the outdoors. This suggests that Tie Creek is a popular and potentially social campground, which can be a positive for families and those who enjoy a lively atmosphere but might be a consideration for those seeking solitude.
For local users in the Garden Valley area exploring "camping near me" that offers a clean and well-maintained environment with access to a variety of outdoor activities and convenient amenities, Tie Creek Campground in Boise National Forest is a strong recommendation. The proximity to the river, fishing opportunities, nearby town, and the abundance of trails and hot springs in the surrounding area provide a wealth of things to do. Tie Creek Campground Reviews
We absolutely LOVE these clean campgrounds! We go every summer to enjoy with the family. They have a town nearby, restrooms, fishing, river rafting and water pump. Not to mention the trails and hot springs all around. SO much to do.
Jul 07, 2024 · Lopez ClanGreat campground with a drinking water pump and bathrooms. Not very many access points to the river, but if you get a campsite with one, you will love it. The only issues were the other campers; with dogs off leash, running around, and families/kids not being taught consideration for other campers. If you want the Great outdoors with river sounds, nature, and getting away from people, DO NOT go to any paid site like Tie Creek. Having said that, Tie Creek itself was well kept, clean, laid out great, and a good place for RV's.
Aug 02, 2023 · Tamara MartinezGreat campground by the river! Two bathrooms for both genders. Smaller campground with about 9 sites in the loop, fills up quickly. There is a spot for people to get into the river at that can get busy.Site: newly updated BBQ, fire pit and table. 1 tent site, plenty of room for additional tents. We had a 12 person and a 3 person tent with plenty of room for another larger tent. Spacious sites and areas to leash the dog.-Dogs are allowed.-Water pump with fresh water.-No trash.-RV spots.-Overflow parking can fit 5 large vehicles.-some highway noise.
Aug 02, 2018 · Paige SmithI was a little worried about how close it was to the road, but that turned out to be a non-issue. Beautiful spot, very well maintained bathroom, and great spot on the river for playing, swimming, fishing, you name it.
