Emerald Cove RV Resort caters to both travelers looking for a place to park their RV and locals seeking a relaxed lakeside atmosphere. The presence of The Buoy Bar adds a unique social dimension to the resort, making it more than just a typical RV park. Reviews provide insights into both the bar experience and, to a lesser extent, the RV park itself.
Environment: Lakeside Scenery and a Developing Bar Scene
The primary environmental highlight of Emerald Cove RV Resort is its location on scenic Lake Rousseau. This offers potential RV guests beautiful lakeside views and possibly opportunities for water-related activities, although the reviews do not explicitly detail RV park amenities such as lake access points or docks. The presence of the lake undoubtedly contributes to the overall ambiance of the resort and the bar.
The Buoy Bar itself is described as a "Great Bar on scenic Lake Rousseau," emphasizing its picturesque setting. It appears to be a casual, outdoor-oriented establishment, given the mention of having to use an outside comfort station for restrooms. While one early experience noted the lack of an indoor bathroom, it's possible this has been addressed or remains a characteristic of the bar's setup.
The atmosphere of The Buoy Bar is described as a "locals hangout," suggesting a friendly and community-oriented environment. The reviewer notes that while it's a local spot, newcomers are welcome, stating, "we don't fuss and we don't bite. Come over and enjoy some country hospitality." This welcoming tone indicates a relaxed and inclusive social scene.
Services and Features: RV Stays and a Lively Bar with Entertainment
Emerald Cove RV Resort offers RV sites, catering to travelers looking for accommodation in the Inglis area. Specific details about the RV sites, such as hookup types (water, electric, sewer), site sizes, or additional amenities like laundry facilities or Wi-Fi, are not provided in the available reviews. Potential RV guests should contact the resort directly for this information.
The standout feature highlighted in the reviews is The Buoy Bar. It offers "cold beer and wine," suggesting a focus on refreshing beverages in a relaxed setting. The bar also seems to be developing its food offerings. One early experience described "catered" food brought in, with concerns raised about hygiene. However, a more recent review indicates that on Saturdays, they "usually have a food truck on site around 4 or 5." This suggests a more structured approach to providing food options for patrons, likely offering a variety of choices depending on the food truck present.
Entertainment is another key feature of The Buoy Bar. The reviews mention "music," and specifically "Live music on Saturday nights 6-9." This makes it a potential evening destination for both RV guests and locals looking for live entertainment. Additionally, there's mention of starting up a "Sunday open Jam," indicating an effort to further cultivate a musical and social atmosphere on weekends.
The bar is also noted to have a "Great staff" and "good prices," contributing to its positive reputation as a local hangout. The combination of cold drinks, occasional food options, live music, and friendly service makes The Buoy Bar a notable amenity associated with Emerald Cove RV Resort.

Emerald Cove RV Resort and The Buoy Bar Reviews
Went to Buoy Bar. saw an ad of facebook events saying cold beer warm food and music. While it was true it was weird. Place didnt have a bathroom inside. Had to go to a comfort station outside. Beer was cold. Food? It was "catered" and the women who made it was bringing it in with a cigarette hanging out if her mouth! So I assumed it was a bar and grill from the ad...it was a bar in a campground.Saw you responded...3 YEARS LATER! But I do remember the woman bringing in trays of food, and YES! She DID have a cigarette hanging out of her mouth.
Mar 23, 2025 · JoAnne GantzhornGreat Bar on scenic Lake Rousseau. Cold beer and wine. Saturday they usually have a food truck on site around 4 or 5. Live music on Saturday nights 6-9. Starting up a Sunday open Jam that I hope catches on. Great staff, good prices, good people. Definitely a locals hangout, but we don't fuss and we don't bite. Come over and enjoy some country hospitality. You'll be glad you did.

Dec 29, 2023 · Alyssa HuntColdest beer I’ve ever tasted. Great locals. Fantastic bartender. Great prices…6 beers less than $15, that’s unheard of! Just beer and wine, but that’s fine. Feels like a Cheers bar, where everyone knows your name. Nothing fancy, but we loved it!
Oct 05, 2022 · Cathy KJust arrived 3 days ago with our camper. Love the atmosphere and prices. Found the bar to be a great local hangout. Beer and wine only. Even live music on Saturday's. Karaoke on Thursday's if I remember right. Pool tables. Lots of TV's. Don't dress up, just come casual and enjoy the lake view.
