Lucky Loggers RV Park

We were here as full time residents for several years. Boy, oh boy, am I glad we finally were able to leave RV life behind and leave this place in our rearview mirror. It wasn't always so bad when there was on-site management, though when there was they'd be nagging constantly about small things (one of the old managers approached my car as I was driving by just to tell me about a light being out on my car that wasn't a light to begin with, just a reflector...).Every "management" person that has come through Lucky Loggers has been about the same, nagging and overbearing. Notably, Deerpoint Meadows (who owns the franchise that bought the park) left it without on-site management for quite some time until recently. No bathrooms being cleaned, no service for long-term or short-term stays (read other reviews), and the place fell into serious disrepair. I saw the same clump of hair that some messy guest left on the shower wall stay there for months. The washing facilities in the laundry are disgusting most of the time and seldom cleaned. I would have to bring disinfectant cleaning wipes to clean the machine before I would feel comfortable putting my laundry in there. We were left without power for 3, almost 4, days in the middle of the summer time. The only issue was a breaker that needed to be flipped back on, but not a single person was available to come fix it. Even the power company came by but they could not access the locked breaker box. All of our cold food spoiled and we ended up in a hotel for the last 2 nights of that to be able to charge our phones and stay some semblance of sane.We were promised a discount on our next month's rent due to this fiasco that never materialized. The upper management leaves much to be desired and doesn't really seem to care if their facilities are in disrepair and their customers aren't happy as long as they are making money.A few months back the women's restroom had about 6 inches of water on the ground and came out in a wave when I opened the door. A pipe had burst, clearly. Nobody even came to shut off the water until the next day. There is now black mold visible from the maintenance shed, the backside of the walls in the bathrooms, and they have attempted to fix the flooding issue but to no avail. Health hazard.Things are slightly better now that there is part time management, but as I understand it she is only there 3 days out of the week. This place needs some serious help and needs full time management again. I'd advise just about anyone to avoid it unless they have no other options, though its central location in downtown Coos Bay is nice. - Ashley Wojcik

Lucky Loggers RV Park Introduce

If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Coos Bay, Oregon area, Lucky Loggers RV Park, located at 250 E Johnson Ave, Coos Bay, OR 97420, USA, is one option that may appear in your search. They can be contacted at (541) 267-6003 or their mobile number +1 541-267-6003. It is important to note that Lucky Loggers RV Park is listed under the umbrella of RV Inn Style Resorts. However, based on recent customer reviews, it is crucial to be aware of significant concerns regarding the management, maintenance, and overall condition of this park before making any decisions about staying there.

Several reviews paint a concerning picture of the living conditions and management of Lucky Loggers RV Park. One former full-time resident, who stayed for several years, expressed relief at being able to leave, indicating that their experience was largely negative, particularly after the departure of on-site management for a period. This reviewer noted that even when there was on-site management in the past, there was a tendency towards "nagging constantly about small things," providing an example of being approached about a non-existent car light.

A significant point of criticism revolves around the management of the park. The former resident stated that "every 'management' person that has come through Lucky Loggers has been about the same, nagging and overbearing." They specifically mentioned that Deerpoint Meadows, the franchise owner, left the park without on-site management for a considerable time. This lack of on-site management reportedly led to a decline in services and maintenance, with "no bathrooms being cleaned, no service for long-term or short-term stays," and the park falling into "serious disrepair." The reviewer recounted seeing the same clump of hair in the shower for months, highlighting the lack of cleaning.

Cleanliness appears to be a major issue, particularly in the laundry facilities. The same former resident described the washing facilities as "disgusting most of the time and seldom cleaned," stating they felt the need to bring their own disinfectant wipes to clean the machines before use. This raises serious concerns about the hygiene and upkeep of shared amenities within the park.

Another critical incident involved a prolonged power outage. Residents were reportedly left without power for "3, almost 4, days" during the summer due to a breaker that needed to be reset. The lack of on-site management meant that no one was available to fix the issue, even when the power company arrived but could not access the locked breaker box. This resulted in spoiled food and the residents having to stay in a hotel to charge their phones and maintain some normalcy. A promised discount for this inconvenience reportedly "never materialized," further highlighting issues with upper management and their responsiveness to resident concerns.

The state of the restrooms is also a significant cause for concern. One incident involved a burst pipe in the women's restroom, leading to about six inches of standing water that flowed out when the door was opened. Shockingly, the water was not shut off until the following day. The reviewer also noted the presence of "black mold visible from the maintenance shed, the backside of the walls in the bathrooms," describing this as a "health hazard." While attempts were reportedly made to fix the flooding, the reviewer indicated that these efforts were unsuccessful.

Currently, there is reportedly part-time management, but the reviewer understands that this person is only on-site three days a week. The overall sentiment is that "this place needs some serious help and needs full time management again." The former resident advises most people to avoid Lucky Loggers RV Park unless they have no other options, despite acknowledging its "central location in downtown Coos Bay" as a potential advantage.

Another reviewer explicitly states, "This trailer park is listed under RV Inn Style Resorts. This in no way is a resort." They describe the park as mostly consisting of "permanent units, mostly with moss and algae," suggesting a lack of upkeep on the individual sites as well. This reviewer mentions only one staff person available four days a week who is trying their best, but notes the absence of maintenance staff to address the numerous small problems. They conclude that the park might be suitable for "a quick stay with easy access to boardwalk area," implying that its central location is the primary benefit.

Based on these reviews, the environment of Lucky Loggers RV Park appears to be one of disrepair and inadequate maintenance. Issues with cleanliness, particularly in shared facilities like the laundry and restrooms, are significant concerns. The lack of consistent on-site management has reportedly contributed to these problems and a lack of responsiveness to resident issues, such as prolonged power outages and plumbing emergencies. The presence of moss and algae on many permanent units further suggests a lack of overall upkeep and attention to the aesthetic of the park.

Services appear to be minimal and unreliable based on the reviews. While basic utilities (water, sewer, electricity) are likely provided, the power outage incident raises concerns about the reliability of the electrical infrastructure and the availability of timely repairs. Laundry facilities are present but reported to be frequently dirty. Restroom facilities have experienced significant issues, including flooding and mold growth, indicating a lack of proper maintenance and potentially posing health hazards. The absence of consistent on-site management further limits the availability of services and support for residents and guests.

Features that might typically be expected in an RV park, such as well-maintained grounds, clean and functional amenities, and responsive management, seem to be lacking at Lucky Loggers RV Park according to the recent reviews. The central location in downtown Coos Bay, offering easy access to the boardwalk area, is the only consistently mentioned positive feature. However, this locational advantage is weighed against the significant drawbacks related to the park's condition and management.

Promotional information is essentially absent in the provided reviews. The discrepancy between being listed under "RV Inn Style Resorts" and the actual conditions described by residents suggests that the park may not live up to the standards typically associated with a "resort." The reviews strongly advise caution and suggest that potential guests or residents should only consider Lucky Loggers RV Park if they have no other options, despite its convenient location.

In conclusion, based on the available customer reviews, Lucky Loggers RV Park in Coos Bay appears to be a park with significant issues related to management, maintenance, and the overall condition of its facilities. Potential guests and those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Coos Bay area should be aware of these serious concerns, including lack of on-site management, unclean amenities, unresolved maintenance problems, and reported health hazards. While its central location offers some convenience, the negative feedback strongly suggests that thorough due diligence and potentially exploring alternative "RV parks near me" would be prudent before considering a stay at Lucky Loggers RV Park.
