Valley Village Manufactured Home Community Introduce
For individuals and families in the Platteville, Colorado area who are searching for "RV parks near me" with the intention of finding a long-term residential option, Valley Village Manufactured Home Community, located at 731 Grand Ave #16, Platteville, CO 80651, USA, offers a community setting for manufactured homes. Unlike traditional RV parks that cater to temporary stays, Valley Village provides a more permanent living arrangement. The available feedback from residents presents a somewhat varied perspective, highlighting both positive aspects of community and maintenance, as well as potential interpersonal issues that prospective residents should consider.
One resident expresses a significant concern regarding a neighbor's behavior, specifically the repeated hanging of laundry on their fence. This reviewer details the impact on their ability to enjoy their porch due to the strong smell of oil from the clothes and the obstruction of access from the front to the back of their property. This situation underscores the importance of clear community guidelines and effective enforcement regarding neighborly conduct and the use of shared boundaries like fences.
In contrast, another resident offers a strongly positive perspective on Valley Village, stating, "I love living here. The park is well maintained and for the most part my neighbors take pride in their home and we have some beautiful yards here..." This positive review highlights the pride that many residents take in their properties and the overall upkeep of the community. The mention of a "yard of the month" recognition with a $50 gift card suggests an initiative that encourages residents to maintain attractive yards, contributing to the aesthetic appeal of the community.
This positive reviewer also notes the presence of "well cared for playing and having fun" children who are described as "bright and friendly" and feeling "safe." The neighbors are characterized as "very nice and helpful," further contributing to a positive image of the community's social environment. This resident explicitly states, "I see no trouble here," offering a direct counterpoint to the neighbor dispute mentioned in the other review.
Addressing potential concerns about management bias, the positive reviewer points out, "I also know that the managers husband is Hispanic and it makes no sense to me, knowing that, why anyone would say management is racist against Hispanics." This comment suggests that allegations of racial bias against Hispanic residents may be unfounded, at least in the experience of this particular reviewer, given the manager's personal connection to the Hispanic community.
The positive reviewer attributes the overall positive living experience to the management and the owner, as well as the guidelines outlined in the lease, which all residents sign. The mention of "background checks and care taken with who management knows would make good neighbors for all of us" suggests a proactive approach to fostering a harmonious community environment through careful tenant selection.
The management is commended for "continuing to provide a safe, decent pleasant place to live which includes a playground for the young ones and basketball for teens." These amenities indicate an effort to cater to families with children and teenagers, providing recreational opportunities within the community.
Considering these varied perspectives, Valley Village Manufactured Home Community appears to be a community where many residents enjoy a well-maintained environment, friendly neighbors, and amenities catering to families. However, the issue raised by one resident regarding a neighbor's intrusive behavior highlights the potential for interpersonal disputes and the importance of clear community policies and enforcement.

Valley Village Manufactured Home Community Reviews
What is the policy on your neighbor hanging there laundry on your fence every day? We can't even enjoy sitting on the porch because the smell of oil from these close is so strong. This is just a few items there is usually clothes all the way down and they will even put them on the gate that we open to go from front to back.
May 18, 2021 · Carrie TorrezI have read the negative comments written about Valley Village and I have a different perspective. I love living here. The park is well maintained and for the most part my neighbors take pride in their home and we have some beautiful yards here, which by the way, one a month is rewarded with recognition with a yard sign and a $50 gift card.I see children who are well cared for playing and having fun. They are bright and friendly and they are safe. My neighbors are very nice and helpful. I see no trouble here.I also know that the managers husband is Hispanic and it makes no sense to me, knowing that, why anyone would say management is racist against Hispanics. There is a reason why this is a nice place to live and it is because of management and the owner, the guidelines as outlined in the lease we all sign. It is because of background checks and care taken with who management knows would make good neighbors for all of us.Management should be congratulated for continuing to provide a safe, decent pleasant place to live which includes a playground for the young ones and basketball for teens.
Nov 15, 2017 · Blair SappThe management of this trailer park, DO NOT care if anyone bullies other people, and DOES NOT care for the same standards, let's certain people slide on rules that are for the whole park. More specifically the main rule of leash your pets even on their own coldisack they have a blind eye to specific people. But other then the few select favorites that never get in trouble.their are certain people in the park the management continually harass and continue letting others get away with anything and everything they want. And think it's a okay to not do anything. They also take care of person issues on office time. No one can really ever get a hold of anyone in the office.
Jun 06, 2019 · Sue JamesI'm home and it feels great. It's clean, quiet and I've met lots of very nice people.
Jul 30, 2024 · Denise HarrisThis company does not know how to manage or function at all, I'm not sure how they are still in business? They do not take care of their residents or property owners. Hopefully nothing breaks or goes wrong at your property; you will be waiting for a long time to get it fixed as they have burned relationships with all their contractors due to shady practices and rude/bitter management. STAY AWAY! There are MUCH better places to live and much better people to deal with in Platteville than Valley Village.
